Good afternoon,

I decide to write here because it is important for me (and I am sure that I am not the only) the steps necessary to install GPU drivers for AMD RX 580 (8Gb) and NVidia 1060 (6Gb).
I am little bit desperate because I already install in few days (4 days) system (Linux Ubuntu 16.04.3, 64 bit) by a lot of times because after I install AMD drivers I cannot enter in the system.

So, any recommendation is welcome take into account dual GPU mining !!!

Thanks to all members of community for support !

All the best !

first put the driver on Radeon.
I have Windows 10. The first card should be Radeon. From left to right. 1) sapphire rx470 4gb 1 - 3. 2) video card 1060 4 - 5. Special driver for mining. If stitched need the patch. 1) driver on Radeon 2) the patch
3. Atikmdag patcher — the need for what would be after the firmware timings video card worked correctly and no errors - download Atikmdag patcher 1.4.6.

Nvidia used to offer a "no-opengl-files" option on their manual driver installer programs, but it doesn't seem to WORK since somewhere in the 360s on their driver versions.

As far as I can tell, there is no way to get reasonably current NVidia drives installed and working on the same LINUX machine with working AMD drivers any more.

if after boot you get a black screen, it's most likely a problem with your xorg.conf file (did you install nvidia x server?)

13 GPU Nvidia Rig running under Ubuntu 16 (eth hash rate: 300+Mh/s @ 1000W for whole rig): 3x EVGA GTX 1060 3Gb (24MH/s @ 65W) + 6x MSI Armor GTX 1060 3Gb (24MH/s @ 70W) + 1x MSI GTX 1060 (24Mh/s @ 65W) + 3x Zotac GTX 1060 (24MH/s @ 65 W). PSU 2400W, Asrock ASRock H110 Pro BTC+, cheap Chinese risers, Kingston SSD 120Gb, 8Gb memory. Selling some of my GPUs (around 200€, still under warranty), if you're interested, contact me in private.
