I did the registration mate and it went through. Isn't my.thomsonreuters was the site OP is talking about cause I follow the link provide to register it.

The site seems to be the samething because they both have the same logo and name but I will see if the ogin info work on the Reuter Media express when I'm home.

EDIT : both site mention the name Thomson Reuters Eikon

Ok. After checking thoroughly. No one can't register the site and you can only buy the account from old users only. Shouldn't be they close the old site for registration and open the other for registration because the site are offering almost the same service. Have you check?
