A bit early to call the bottom, isn't it? I too am fairly confident that the USD 11,000 - 10,000 levels will hold, but I don't think we're in the clear yet. Bitcoin's movements have been too twitchy for the past few weeks. The market needs to stabilize first before we can move onward.

Yeah, I don't understand where these calls about the bottom are coming from. It seems like we may end up dropping to around the 10k mark where there are strong holds. People are runnning their money into altcoins, and that's expected. Bitcoin may not be the best coin for continuing the blockchain technology even though it was the first. I think the power of bitcoin will hang around for a while. People who are just hearing about these cryptocurrencies will start putting their money into bitcoin soon enough.

Well as of a few hours later I can tell you this wasn't the case, although right now the bottom seems to be about the same. We will see where we'll go from here. It seems we might play a similar game around the 11k level as we did at 13k where there's a lot of support and it keeps retouching that level. Fortunately I feel there'll be even more support at 10k than at 11k which is a nice back up to have. ATH by first or second week of february.

for it to be a true bubble, 30-50% have to be invested, MSM should post "how glorious the new high is", etc, etc
Bitcoin or crypto as a whole have to represent a substantial % of all assets. In 2000, nasdaq was at almost 7tril with Internet companies at 3tril.
At 500-600 bil all crypto are absolutely puny (less than 10% of gold) with btc even smaller 180-200bil.
Could we be at a local peak (bubblette)...sure. Do I know where the local bottom is...nope.

TL;DR almost nobody was involved, hence it is unlikely to be a true bubble

This is exactly what has happened many times. So I am very positive about coming days. Even the price falls more, it will rise again. All persons who are experienced in this market know this and are waiting without any fear.

one thing that  have learned from the last couple of years, I woudnt be surprice if it reach 20K again by end of the next week
Its like catching a fish using bare hand, every time you want to grab it on the right price to buy, it just go between your hands  
Only thing that made me sad is not the price, its just that people are only concern about short term profit and get rich and dont even think for a second what a jewel has satoshi put in our hands. I really do mis the old times when btc was small and people was interested because of the bitcoin it self and not because of converting back to fiat.

Riding and considering as an opportunity for a bigger profit is wise. The same needs to take place gradually or at the earliest, because such price falls will create a negative impact upon the growth of the cryptocurrency around the globe.

Many expecting $8k if $10k support is broken.

If there will be no any bad news than market might bounce back to at least $15k. Now on no any news regarding ban from Asia will affect market for sure. All Asian whales might have sold off...

Ever heard of a dead cat bounce? There is a possibility that this would be it since the volume is still unhealthy and we might be able to jump ship before it re-test the 10,000$ level again. If its broken we all now know that 8,000$ is the next support level. If we have the chance to sell Bitcoin at around 12,000$ level we can (for those who will gain profit of course) and try to reload Bitcoin at 10,000$ or even at 8,000$ which is my most preferred level. But what I really prefer is Bitcoin to recover now as going down below 10,000$ has a devastating effect on Bitcoin on a long term.
