I had a brief conversation on Discord with the dev about the airdrop after spelunking through the data myself. It's clear from the spreadsheet at least one person attempted to register multiple accounts (49 to be exact) with full bitcointalk status in order to secure a largeish bag of coins. There was also a longtail of single accounts with very similar comment strings, and about a dozen double dippers (2 accounts / 1 wallet address). Basically a few people are assholes, which is why the rest of us can't have nice free things. My account was also filtered from the airdrop, not sure the reason, really could care less about the 2 coins, which is about 2 hours worth of mining.

Love the basic elements of this project- GPU mineable, asic resistent (not proof), PoW + PoS and masternodes.

However, in order to flourish, it's going to need better organization and people to do basic block and tackle work on community to give it more credibility. There are just too many other altcoins with most of these same elements in place (on the tech side), with better structure on the community side. People need to be coddled to some degree in order to feel confident they're not just throwing hashpower down the drain, or participating in another ICO dump and run coin. Dev should enlist the help of a few people that are good at this, but you need to do it rather quickly before other altcoins beat you up and steal your lunch money.

at least this form makes itself Closed after it's been filled. I've contacted the dev about the thing, it seems there's some stealth addresses besides that address I provided is definitely rejected by the arcpool so it's defunkt somehow. I hope the issue would be resolved. Such things happened with TUN after blockchain split and dev reset the coin so one address in my QT wallet was not working at their pool but I've never heard about Bash blockchain reset yesterday

What about the rest? This is a 1600+w miner that is better suited to other algo's. Understand that it's capable of mining skein but a 1080ti can do 1gh/s, which is far easier and more feasible to obtain than an ASIC miner at the moment. The theoretical risk of ASIC miners does not seem to have affect skein algo coins ...not yet anyhow. So you're basically dog whistling about a problem that doesn't exist.

you sound illogical. Though skein algo is just a bonus the ASIC takes just 120W at 5 GH/s of skein and it takes much less space for making farms of those so in case of no new X11/qubit alts the owners would start mining some Numus, Lizus and Bashcoin just because 5x 1080ti are far from 120 W and they cost even more than one ASIC though there's another problem. 1080ti are now as hard to get as X10 Giant due to the amounts needed for mining, people just buy them all to hell
