At gambling , expect that you will not always win. You can't determine when you will lose or win. It depends on you on how you handle the game , if you win then win and if you lose try it again. One bad experience can be a lesson so don't be afraid. I have also experience that and I always make sure that I follow my own strategy. I know that all of us have specific goal but do not expect too much. If you want to make profit on gambling then you need to think very carefully , you need to wise. I call it a positive thinker, everyone of us who are gambling are hoping to win, hence it's just right to think of winning.

If they do it for fun then they are not "successful", aren't they?

And if they are successful then they must do it on a "professional" basis - the thing is even with professional poker players - you won't hear about the dozens if not thousands of players who lost the plot, got suicide, went bankrupt, and what's not.

Gambling is a game of losers, the only "professionals" who make money from it - are the ones behind the "house" because the house always wins (reminds me of Nitrogen sports offering not more than 1.87 odds on the "over" in the NBA All Star game ... they took 13% from every winner and 100% of losses from under bettors ... is it fair? Any winner who had bet on the over lost 13% of his original stakes - automatically) ... some other sites were even more rude offering 1.75 or so.

succesful gamblers became succesful because they know how to control their self . they dont play too much and if they play dont treat gambling as a serious game of money  . they only consider it as a fun and entertaining activity because if your mind is positive  , you can also atract luck and your gameplay can become better .

What matters the most in gambling is the mindset of the gambler. If you are sitting idle with nothing on mind, you would never win and would always loose. However, if you are sharp enough with strategy and an insight into what the other player intend to play, you would be better off with higher chances and probability to win and make money than the other player.

Making higher expectation in gambling will just make you more aggresive and it can lead you to a big losses. I know that as a gambler we should have the right mindset, a more controlled decisions and of course, a disciplined action can save you money in gambling.
