I do not think you should call them crazy because you bought at a lower price, they never knew the price will dip this much any time soon. Yes it is always more profitable to buy when the price is very low but it was not their fault that crypto market dip this much.

Not everyone can take risks on pumps or little-known coins, and the profit on them can be felt only with a good number. Therefore, choose a win option and wait for better times and, in principle, it pays for itself. So everyone has his own opinion and strategy.

If they did not know the price could go lower despite the fact the price of ethereum was very high and there were very clear signs that we were in the middle of a bubble then I think it is fair to call them crazy, buying ethereum at those prices was insane and only those that did not had any experience can excuse themselves for their mistakes because the rest of the community should have known better since they have more time and more experience in this market. |

Perhaps you are right, but still do not buy some unique items, expects further decline, then to use the situation there for purchase. But I think that this will not happen. Only the moon. |

Well this post aged pretty well, ETH is just around 400 dollars now!
ETH will always be necessary for several things, so don't worry too much. Look at ETH as the gateway into new projects.

For me I don't normally buy coins when the price is already jumping high, I normally buy coins when the price is in the dip and everyone is afraid to buy, and i think now is another time for people who are risky takers to buy some eth and hold for it to go up to 1k plus again.

and now is only 200$, but here is nothing bad, market will recover soon i see $178 on Coinmarketcap. Maybe it'll go down to $150. Anything's possible. at $160 i will start to buy again. think this is a good time . but you never know what the market is doing later |

I think eth reached the bottom yesterday and now we are right on track for the reversal, i hope people who bought expensive eth in january will break even soon as strong bulls are expected to remain in the market now.

You still probably wont get rich from ETH because for the 100.000s of people who got ETH for under $10 its still payday every day. There is some good projects that are really cheap now, I dont know why you would waste your time with ETH. Look for the next eth! So you can be one of those giant bag holders then. |

Neo is not that bad at $150 even because I think it might grow as huge as ETH is now, so meaning it would get maybe to $1000. Thats not a huge profit if it works out, its *8. But its better than buying ETH at least.
Neo is good but the main disadvantage is that it is very centralized. But on another side, there is a big advantage for NEO holders: Hold NEO, Get GAS for free! |

So I want to bring this old topic up, remember when ETH was $1200 and Bitcoin was $15000? Now Bitcoin is $32000 and ETH is only $1000.
Meanwhile I have made x50 and more on some smaller coins. ETH was good when you bought it for $10. Now you need small projects for massive gains. Something will replace ETH and it still isnt even decided if dApps ever will be a huge market anyways.
So something as Nano seems like a way better investment because it can easily go x20 from just a few on Wallstreet seeing its potential.
