BTC will recover for sure, same we may say for ETH and all top coins.
But small altcoins may not survive after the panic sell. Even if they will, BTC is always first recover. So don't you think it's right time to sell alts for BTC?

Even I have similar feelings and I have already started selling altcoins like dogecoin, digibyte and reddcoin as they will not survive the crisis and surely will sink but still I cannot predict the future but it will be better to focus on Bitcoin and ethreum as we can trust these coins and these coins have gone through these crisis in the past even if you sell don't sell entire altcoin just have some of it

I'd suggest giving all the altcoins to me for free. I'm building a tower out of them. It's fun.

Not all Altcoin holders will sell their Altcoin and some still believe that bitcoin will sure recover on its own and will again ride the bullish train, I don't feel like selling my Altcoins with bitcoin, I am still holding both and it is not worth it right now because I have bought mine when the price is high then if I'm going to sell it now I would sure lose a certain amount of money!

It is the best time to buy altcoins due to the drop that was seen yesterday. The recovery of those altcoins might take time but they'll surely recover making good profits for us. Never panic sell, it always ends up giving loss! And if you own some altcoins, HOLD! And talking about bitcoin, it is for sure that it'll recover after some time.

But small altcoins may not survive after the panic sell

In this case its true that the smaller volume of alt coin will be have a very hard time recovering or may not recover at all from this panic selling that is happening.

So don't you think it's right time to sell alts for BTC?

Maybe you should sell the alts that you really consider that will be down in the market, there are still some coins that might flourish after the panic selling that is happening, choose wisely on what will you be selling for you might make a wrong decision today and that coin will be great in the future.

the time to sell altcoins was at least 24 hours ago when the bitcoin price drop began. with every 10% drop in bitcoin, alts have been dropping at least 20%

and after bitcoin finishes up dropping, if it becomes stable altcoins will recover and by that time it is not a bad idea to buy them to benefit from their dead cat baounces.
but if bitcoin, after reaching bottom, reverses and starts having a rise, then you should stay away from alts because they will drop more.

But small altcoins may not survive after the panic sell. Even if they will, BTC is always first recover.

not necessary for small altcoins. this is only true for the big ones which will continue to drop.
the small ones are always going to be easier to pump, and pumpers who have lost money during this massacre have to make the money back and pumping small altocins is the way to do it.

I wouldn't recommend dropping altcoins, at least all of them are going to recover from this drop, that's how the market works, so holding and buying are probably the best choices right now. Besides, anyone panicking right now should've known the consequences, for example, if an altcoin i'm holding suddenly "dies" during this drop, it's my fault for not doing a proper research and not knowing that X coin was a scamcoin that was bound to dissapear sooner or later. What we're seeing right now is not only a massive drop, but also a test for everyone involved in altcoins.
