To reply to this comment: You are right the amount of EC is huge, but this is done with a reason.
To reply to comments of investors: A large amount of EC will never be dumped, to avoid large drops of the value of the EC. We want at all time protect the interest of the investors. Amounts of EC will be put in the market when funds are needed for well defined projects. The total amount is also for projects for the coming 30-40 years!
To be more specific about the projects:
Environment:
Energy production: To avoid the heating of the planet we must limit the amount of CO2 released by us. One of the big causes is the energy production. To have a clean planet we must produce from renewable sources (sun,wind, geothermal, hydro power), but the other productions are cheaper, because we have the plants available, not for the renewable sources (cfr statistics of renewable energy in EU). Due to economic and budgetary constraints, even that the countries know they have to change the way we produce our energy, they slow down to do the necessary investments. We will help to invest in the necessary sources. The produced energy will be brought to the habitants at lower cost then now available, this to reduce poverty. (for instance if in country average cost/kwh = 0.27€, then we will bring it @ 0.12 €/kWh but we will select the people with an income below the poverty line, so we are also working on another objective, to reduce the poverty)

Water management: Invest in studies to produce more potable water from different sources. For the future this will be important to avoid drought, wars, migration (and more refugees). This must lead to techniques that can be implemented in drought affected area's.
Agriculture: The world population is 7 billion and will be around 10 billion in 2050. To provide food for all those people we have to do agriculture differently.
a)growing animal protein source: keeping livestock as we do today is doomed if we want to preserve a liveable world. The cattles produces to much methane, and are an important cause for the global warning and uses to much water. For animal feed, immense surface of land and large quantities of water are needed. So feeding people with cattle, sheep, pigs and chicken will not be maintained, or will only be possible for a part of the people. A solution could be insects. They grow rapidly, are low on maintance, feeding (they can grow on waste, see waste management) and small quantities of water are needed. (1 kg beef requires 15000 L water, 1 kg pig meat requires 6000 L water, 1 kg chicken requires 3400 L of water, 1 kg insects requires 4 L of water). We only need to bring it in an acceptable form, it can be made attractive and tasty. We want to focus on doing so, and then invest in plants in countries affected by famine.
b) growing plants and fruits on the traditional ways ask too much land and water consumption. We want to fund research projects to develop cultivating in small surfaces with low water consumption. The findings have to be implemented.

Refugees:
a) Build temporarily residents for incoming refugees to avoid that they have to sleep in parks and in streets. They get resident the time they are in the approval procedure
b) invest in neighboring countries from war countries, to receive refugees locally (by funding local NGO's)
c) invest in in developing countries to offer people a future in their own country, concerning work, food, water and opportunities
Of course we can not do everything on the same moment. But yearly we will select, 1-3 projects and allocate a small portion of the total supply of EC to that project, and only then bring that part to the market. The decision of which project to be organized will be done in a voting process (see #1). Also we will strive for an overall transparency both of our own organization and of collaborations that we work out with a local organization.
