I predict bitcoin will go down to 8000 and below due to exchange sites shutting down and massive crack downs in various countries.

USD800 from the beginning of 2017, it still have too much crazy rise.
Hopefully more deep fall, and then play again, don’t worry about the market, it still exist.
Anyhow this time of fall is good for newbie

It's about time Bitcoin learns to stand on its own feet and become independent from exchanges and invulnerable to crackdowns.

I don't think so, Bitcoin is going to fall down below $10K USD anymore. I believe that Bitcoin price will go up again and it will reach $20K USD within this year. Day by day Bitcoin is becoming a familiar platform for earning money through saving and investment.

Not only that but also Bitcoin is getting accepted in many developed countries as a payment method. Already they have started collecting Bitcoin for the future reservation. So in the future, Bitcoin will become a major factor in the monetary platform. So the price will go down as you thinking...

Countries cracking down on bitcoins is a good sign. It means governments are formulating policies on how to regulate cryptocurrency. Better change your forecast.

Honestly I think this is optimistic. I think if governments really crack down on it, it can easily sink below like $4,000 or even lower. It might get eclipsed by a superior alt coin and ultimately go to zero. That wouldn't surprise me at all.

We cannot say it in a confirmed manner that the price won't fall low to $8000. With the ongoing price changes anything could happen. Some term it to be a bubble burst and few indicate it as an random price dip for a price increase. Whatever might be, it's good to invest considering it as an opportunity.

Which exchange websites are you talking about? Kraken? Kraken seems to be back and running well now.
Which countries? All I heard about was a false rumor on South Korea banning Bitcoin, "false" in the sense that as usual the main information was misunderstood (South Korea is thinking to forbid anonymous trading of cryptocurrencies, which is not the same thing as "banning Bitcoin").

There is a summit in Buenos Aires soon regarding regulations to be implemented, but no info about this yet and it is in April anyway.

Now I will not be surprised if bitcoin falls below 8000 dollars. In general, for the crypto currency, this will be very good. Just will not be excessive speculative speculative demand for bitcoin, it will not swell as a bubble and create a threat for themselves and others for crypto currency. Investments will be more or less evenly distributed among different coins and in general this will contribute to the development of the Crypto-currency. Therefore, there is no thin without good.

I hope that will not happen, to be honest i'm really afraid seeing the price of bitcoins right now. It's dropped 31% but i hope it will not go down more below $10k. I think once the price of bitcoin reach $10k, some whales will do something about it and will pump the bitcoin price. Let's hope it will not go down more.

Hopefully bitcoin will not fall below $8000. Every coin is in a state of uncertainty, no one know how long it will recover. But maybe it would be good to come back soon.

Well, I don't believe Bitcoin will decline below $9000 let alone $8000 and below.  I think that it is the right time to invest in Bitcoin and altcoins since they are on the decline trends at the moment to the lost of about -30 to -35%. And I want to encourage people to keep holding their coins.

I see a somewhat bullish pattern forming for Bitcoin and it may or may not touch 9,000 levels, but experience tells me it will bounce right back up.

Everything is possible, and if price go below 8k$ it will not surprise me personally. In the way that price is go up,now it is go down and this is how things works. If we look past 2-3 years there were a lot of ups and downs, and the beginning of this year will not be remembered for good. For now price is holding above 10k level and I hope it will stay above this level in next 24-48 hours. If it fall down below that I do not know where it can be stopped, but I am always optimistic and I look at this as a temporary bad period for BTC.

All the bulls say this, and when it actually flash crashes to that price, they don't actually buy it.
