My friend advised me to sell my coin today. I know he is for my sake, but how to explain to him?

I understand that you love your friends and they sure wish you the best. But listen, man, do not sell now anything – the crypto market is starting to stabilize. Almost all alts and Bitcoins are slowly growing. I believe in 1-2 months or even earlier BTC will be over $18 000 or even more.

Just ask them the reason why you have to do that, ask for their reasons.  Then if you really don't want to sell it Tell them just to let you what you want to do. Especially when they really don't need the money. Learn to stand on your own decision

I am curious,
Why does he know you have bitcoin and why does he recommend you to sell your bitcoin? But, we go back to the conversation!
That's easy, tell him if bitcoin fluctuates and ups and downs are perfectly reasonable.
After all, it is your bitcoin. Then, why does he suggest like that?
You who have power over what you have, it's all for you then what if you sold it today and bitcoin prices back to the original price, would you still say it for your benefit?

Explain to him about what? not wanting to sell your bitcoin?
Well you can be straightforward and say, "Well thanks for your advice, but i don't feel like selling it now. Maybe later, but thanks for the concern."
If you really don't feel like following his advice, then don't. I'm afraid if something goes wrong, you'll be upset and blame your friend instead.
Just sell when you really want to sell it, not because someone else told you to do so.

What is his reason to say you that? Is he looking into the graph or just base only to bias? See our bias can greatly manipulate our decisions and can ruin our trading experience over time, some are selling because he probably thinks everybody is probably selling now because bitcoin and other crypto are crushing now, well you have to do that if you are at the moment before the big down, and nothing is wrong with that as you only cut further loss, but if you plan to sell now the price is greatly down compare to 19,300 usd level I advise you not to, and wait until it goes up again to sell.

Maybe your friend's intention is good and he wants your best, but it is up to you to decide whether to sell or not.
Does your friend has any experience in the cryptocurrency field? is he a successful trader?
Did he give you any reosons or explanations about why he thinks you should sell?
You are the only one that will bear the consequences.

Bitcoin price is so unstable due to individuals that begin to sell their bitcoin and advise each one to sell too. in this way others additionally sell their bitcoin in this manner the value begins to fall drastically. Then again, if the cost begin to raise, other individuals advise other to purchase, and spread the news to purchase in this way the bitcoin cost vertically increment. At that point, a large portion of the general population will gripe that the cost is extremely unstable. So what I advice is that "mind your own crypto."

As long as you bought the money yourself, no one can pressure you into selling them when you don't want to, if you have faith that you are going to make profit from holding, then you should't succumb to pressure from your friends ad family.

Although he/she is your friend the final decision should be your and your alone. The question is also how deep is your friend involved in cryptocurrencies and how much understands the whoe situation.
Don't fall under someone's influence easily and do something that you might regret. But like I've said, you know your situation the best and you know what is the best for you.

maybe your friend has a thought for yourself, related to the coin. but if you want to sell it your rights, because the coins are yours completely. if in the future the price of the coin goes up, you should not be disappointed. because your friend's analysis is very good.  Grin

No one could force us to sell if we don't want to. You can explain or you can choose to not waste your time explaining. Just take your own decisions

Why would bother? if you do believe in bitcoin then dont listen to his advice and do still continue to hold up on your bitcoin holdings. He doesnt know everything and he dont know on what thing happen ahead which means its not right on saying for your own sake. We are risk takers on here and for those who believe will have the chance to be paid off. Recent market crashes are just a normal thing and only weak hands will only react and decide to leave.

But why? No one knows the future of bitcoin, even your friend doesn't know it. It was your own decisions anyway, don't let others dictate you it was your own money so it was in your control. But if you feel your friend was right and have a basis base upon on his statement then sell it. Just tell him that you want to see what is the result of your investments in the future tell him you don't care if you lose or gain it was your own decision because it was your money.

No one can dictate you, because its your idea and your decision whether you sell it or not. You should tell your friend that we wait for the best time before it sell. Tell them that in the future the price will increase more so have a patience to wait. Explain them that holding bitcoin is better for a long term. Let them know the importance of savings and holding btc. Think about it if what is good and tell them that its not the time to sell.

it's up to you, no need to follow your friends
if for example you, still want to hold your bitcoin much longer, while waiting for the price to go up, no problem
you must have a principle in investing, whether it be friends, relatives, or wife though
if for example you, feel the profit you can less, if selling at this time, you better hold it any longer

Bitcoin is yours, why do you have to let others decide to sell or hold, I think you should be tough, and make a decision for yourself. Bitcoin prices today are over $ 8,000. but according to predictions in 2018 bitcoin price will increase to $ 50,000. If you patiently hold and wait, in the future you will get high profits from the price difference. Wish you a wise decision for yourself.

Don't listen to your friend, it's your bitcoin, decision to sell or hold should be yours. now i too constantly get "advice" from my brother to sell my coins, he says bitcoin will crash lol, i just ignore him. it's my bitcoin and i don't want to sell it now, i'll sell when price of one bitcoin will be $50k+.
I agree, that if someone give you some advice's like this that are told you that you sell your bitcoin, don't follow them. Instead tell them that holding is better than to sell our btc, because the more patience you give the more profit that you earn. Don't be hurry, just wait for the price is high. You are the one who decide to your btc, not all advice's is right you should think well carefully.
