Better to spread out your investment on different coins. The profits might be lower, but the risks are also bought down. If you do make losses, it might get covered with the help of other coins you have invested on.

I am pretty sure you will not be able to sustain this kind of periodic Crypto investment. Just make the first purchase and trade continuously with it.

You choice is very interesting. As for me, it's better to hold only top 10 altcoins, it's less risky and I won't be nervous about my investments. I think it's more safely to hold altcoins, like Ethereum or Stellar.

Crypto is still very speculative, especially when it comes to diversifying one's portfolio. There are many answers anyone could say like, Eth, Ltc, Neo, Eos, etc.. But the advantage of selecting only the coins in the top 50 is estimating who has best chance to survive the next decade of crypto.

There are some projects that are interesting nonetheless outside of the top 50, but every single Alt will have to wait for BTC to move, in order to have any bullish price action.

That being said (And i cant believe im saying this), BCHABC and maybe BCHSV are likely still going to be there. They both have about 1 Terahash on their networks and for those two forks to truly "die", both the interest of mining them, and the hashpower + equipment allocated would have to go to zero. I really hate the idea that these two coins are trying to compete with Bitcoin to overthrow it, but greed is fueling the market as much as the idea to decentralize finance.

I'm also in a similar position as yourself, as I'm just working with what I have in terms of income. Most of what I'm sharing is just to help position myself when the next bull run begins, but there's still a good chance the bear market is not over. If we find ourselves in a further downtrend, then the next capitulation is around the corner.
