clearly because altcoins market price is influence by BTC market. As we all know that all of these crypto are alternative for bitcoin so if btc drop then so does the altcoins. From Ethereum, I doubt that something depends now, only the ico market can, but from bitcoin most of all depends on whether the market will grow or fall
