I’m a newbie and I keep hearing people talk about dumping tokens...Can someone please explain what dumping of token means and how I can dump tokens?

The term is what is used in the conventional stock markets typically when a penny stock is pumped on a forum so a major holder of the asset can make a lot of money quickly, then he/she 'dumps' or sells off the position.

A token dump is the same, a whale that has a LOT of tokens dumps them onto the market creating a selloff.  We are currently seeing a dump of all coins/tokens worldwide.  I expect a V bottom with BTC eventually (within a few days/week), so a potential buying opportunity may be here.

BTC has produced lows in January over the last 3 years, check out the chart.
