I used the what to mine site.

they are not much off on all the other algos. I wanted to get one, but is this vega 56 is just good for cryptonight? Even though I have a 1070  I wanted to put one in my personal pc to mine. I know the pro rig guys say this is frowned upon but I saw someone on-line in video had it running it

Is the Vega series just really good at that 1 cryptonight algo and the about adverage with all the other cards with the other algos? I'm trying to justify if it's worth getting vs another 1070 or 1080 ect

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Yes, that is correct as of now.
Until and unless someone else discovers a way to produce more hashrate in other algorithms.
Vega still performs pretty good but not worth the price as difficulty has caught up.

For the price I'm not seeing it to just have an advantage in 1 algo. Is it true that not many exchanges want to host cryptonight coins? Also have people ever made some kind of modifier drivers that gives higher hash rate,?

What is the best pound for pound card out today?

The advantage of Vega is long gone. If you would have purchased it when the method for high hashrate in the cryptonitght algorithm for Vega just released. The break-even was in a month or two. Now, its more like six months with the price and difficulty.
I don't know if exchanges are deliberately not listing cryptonight coins.
No, there is no modified drivers but BIOS mod, power tables and such which provides high hashrates.
If you can find RX 5XX series for a good price or GTX 1060 and GTX 1070. They seem the best ATM.

I disagree with the statements above.
I'm still getting over $10 per Vega56 per day. You still need two and a half RX570's with proper bios mod to beat a single Vega at Cryptonight.

It's all a question of price. The only other GPU that can get you that type of $/day currently is the 1080Ti. And it costs quite a bit more.

Much more is possible even now. Five ten days ago even 20-50 was achievable.

I don't think it's in miners interest to tell what coin brings the most profit due to difficulty increase. Especially on the largest cryptocurrency forum  Smiley

It's unfortunate but true.
People around here are happy to help in general when it comes to troubleshooting rig and mining issues... But remain silent when you ask which profitable coin to mine.
I suspect if you make some friends on the board they'll be more likely to share via pm but otherwise this type of info is seldom blasted for everyone to see...
