Alex, thanks for your question.  Yes, the project has a KYC.  Only US residents and citizens are restricted from participating.

Hakamura, actually that's not totally correct. You don't earn tokens for listening to the radio per se.  Yes, a RadioYo host can reward you with RAO if you listened to their show or for retweeting a link to their show.  But we see tokens being earned/rewarded through a person's contribution/involvement in the community.  For example, interacting with a brand, building features, etc.

mihacrypto, never beed called a racist before, not sure if that's a good thing or bad. 

That said, we restricted access for US citizens and residents because of the regulatory environment.

Are we happy about it, absolutely not.  In fact, we're probably cutting off our nose because the US should be our largest market for contributors.

But until US regulators can show some consistency in their decisions, we've unfortunately had to take this step.

dzkrb, thanks for the kind words.  I'm aware of some people doing something similar but without a working product.  We, on the other hand, have a working product with people live streaming their own radio shows or broadcasting prerecorded podcast episodes using our platform. it seems interesting, the concept of Live-broadcasting is always a good concept to follow because it always gets a lot of attention in a short time, hopefully it works well, and ICO runs smoothly
