Does anyone have information on the upcoming Obelisk from Sia. Is it worth pre ordering?
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I think bitmains A3 completely killed prospects for the obelisk... Thanks for the advise guys. And what about the dragonmint miner? On paper it's stiff competition for bitmains S9.

Nobody is sure if it's real. There's a thread full of smarter people than me discussing it.

You will wait too long for the tool above. the quality has not been tested real by the miners. better to buy a tool that has been tested and widely used by the miners. and choose a manufacturer that has been trusted and make delivery less than 2 weeks.
