So the $80 host fees mentioned in your original post are no longer valid?

$80 per kW is still valid. The price for an S9 is 118 USD as it is calculated as 1.47 kW

$80 per kW is still valid. The price for an S9 is 118 USD as it is calculated as 1.47 kW

Does that mean, to get the $80USD I need to host 7 S9 miners?

2. Miners run at high efficiency (can't comment on downtimes as I don't observe it as frequently)

3. The maintainence & others are frequent and with photos.

Here is my review of KPM Hosting

I have been with them for almost 3 months now.

Pros:
- Excellent communication. They keep their customers in the loop for everything that goes on, provide pictures of upgrades, and respond very quick to emails.
- Setup time is very quick. They let me know when my miners arrived and set them up either that day, or the next day.
- Billing system is always on time, and is accurate.
- Any major downtime is compensated as a discount in subsequent bill

Cons:
- Large up-front cost (3-month deposit) that you will only get back at the end of the hosting term as a lump sum. Meaning that the customer assumes any risk. Other hosting companies I had worked with in the past did not have this as a requirement.
- They only compensate for downtime if the total monthly downtime is over 24 hours. Meaning if your miners were off for 23 hours during the month, you are still paying full price for that unused electricity. Can get costly depending on the size of your farm.

Overall, I feel that the great customer service makes up for the higher cost premiums that KPM charges. I feel confident in dealing with KPM Hosting.
