This article was written before the entire drop went through, and it's pretty obvious too. It's clear that the author isn't really a supporter of the technology, but more so that he wants to make money off of these coins. Sure, that's the motive behind a lot of investors, but I feel like the article should look more into the actual technology behind Bitcoin instead.

Regardless, I don't think we can hit 100k by the end of this year. Maybe by the end of next year if everything goes well, but for now 50k seems possible on the high end and 5k on the low end.

we are in January and bitcoin has not perform very well this year and I think we might need to put a lot of effort to be able to see bitcoin above $20,000 the last high. I have see a lot of predictions on reddit and twitter and most of them have not come to fulfillment. $100,000 is possible this year if the rates of progress make last year repeat itself. But if the current bearish momentum is sustained then bitcoin would stay below $10,000 through out the year.

Just stop lying, for me, it is going to reach that price but it won't happen soon.

I gave up trying to predict in what direction Bitcoin is going and on what price. As of today, there are many "experts" saying that the "bubble has burst". I believe Kwukduck is having a good time right now. Hahaha.

But with that in mind, Bitcoin has always found its way back to its previous trend of going up for 2 to 3 years now. So maybe $100,000 is possible. Although "$100,000 in 2018" is "too optmistic".

There are so many predictions on bitcoin, half of the 'experts' say it will crash, the other half has draws some very high numbers.
I think it would not be so bad if we could stay for a while where we are right now.
Let the dust settle and take the route to a slow and steady growth where the whole community can participate, not only the traders.

I agree it is too early to tell that. $100k is too high and too far from the price today. I already drop so hard this Month and we all experiencing the drops, so now some of us making their panic selling the reason also why bitcoin price dropping more.

Wait, let me make this clear. This guy, on December 2016, predicted that Bitcoin would be worth $2000 in 2017? It reached nearly 10x that lmao. That tidbit about him isn't even worth mentioning because that adds nothing at all to his credibility. He was off by around $18,000 lol. That means his words amount to exactly nothing.

Either way, the only way I see $100,000 happening is if the Lightning Network rolls out and turns out to be a success. Things don't look good otherwise.

By the end of 2017 many people are saying it will happen, but we can see that at the beginning of this jaunary there was an unfortunate momentum, Bitcoin's price dropped dramatically. Yes it could happen because the year 2018 is still very long, personally I would say that the value of 20,000USD to 30,000USD becomes a ralistic value to achieve. The rest may require a miracle and that's hard to achieve.

I know there's a need for basis on this but this type of analysis is helping the community. I have read an analysis before from Novogratz for 2017 and he did an accurate one but $100,000 is too much on his prediction although he can change his words. There's nothing to lose if his speculation will happen and it will be beneficial to all of the holders? No why not give it a shot or just let it go. Nothing to argue if it will happen or not or if it's too much.

In my opinion let us wait for the price of bitcoin to recover from it's current highest price achieved last year before we make some sort of deductions or analysis. Because as of now the chances of bitcoin reaching 100,000 USD is currently low because the demand and trend of bitcoin is also at low. Let us hope that by the end of January 2018 bitcoin can recover.

I believe that yesterday's incident was just an ordinary accident. even with its incident yesterday maybe it will be the beginning of the resurrection bitcoin. I am sure in 2018 this will be a very good ranking for the world bitcoin users.

I think that this is pure speculation and nothing more,he is just trying to turn out smart if his prediction proves to be true or close to it.Also he say that price can go between 50k$ and 100k$ based on bitcoin futures.He also say before that 100k$ could be achieved in the next ten years which is a much more realistic estimate.Since he is changing his mind very often,I do not take it seriously and it is better that he is not right for one simple reason.Such high price in this year will couse biggest correction which we have ever seen and very likely a complete breakdown of the system(exchanges,transactions..)

Now it is too early for such predictions. The last correction showed that it might not be so easy. I think that if the price stays at 25k $ it will be good.
