I have just submitted my BTC Economy Plugin (demo, wiki) to the Blogger/Blogspot gadget repository. If it is approved, anyone will be able to add the plugin to their blog with just a few clicks.

Right now, anyone can add the plugin to their blog by manually entering the following URL in the Gadget box.

Code:
http://api.bitcoinbulletin.com/apps/btceconomy/hooks/blogspot.xml

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Coolio!

... Although not so much if you're in an affiliate progam with one/any of the companies listed. I'll use it anyway.

SWEET!

I am in an affiliate program with a few bitcoin-companies. But so far I have not made any bitcoins from the plugin, other than from a small donation. I am also toying around with the idea of sharing the profits with the websites that host the plugin, but this discussion is premature because my business model has yet to prove itself.

That said, everyone who makes a request has or shortly will be added to the live feed. Right now, a few stores dominate the plugin, but that is because they offer a majority of the merchandise.

So far I am still waiting on Blogger / Blogspot to approve my gadget. Hopefully, if more people use the URL (see top post) to custom add the gadget then the BTC Economy will be more likely to be approved.

Let me know if you have or plan to embed the plugin in your Blogger / Blogspot page, or if you need help.

I have this information on good authority that it should work.

Normal code
Code:
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://api.bitcoinbulletin.com/btceconomy"></script>
Manually set code
Code:
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://api.bitcoinbulletin.com/btceconomy?width=400&height=250"></script>

Yes, the plugin is now resizable! I updated the code this weekend.

The "normal" code attempts to try and auto-fit to the webpage. The width will shrink to whatever space it is given.

The "manual" code is just that, you can manually set the dimensions in pixels.

P.S. The plugin will refuse to shrink below 225px in height and 170px in width.

Good job chief, here's the error message I get when I try to use your plugin.
