OP that's correct continue what your doing because you need to try all of exchanger to experience all of it and to know knowledge about different exchanger,try also poloniex,mercatox and binance this three exchanger are good but all of my coins in poloniex are already converted in btc then i withdraw it in past 2017 so i don't have some coins there i don't know if it's really recommended,Experience is the best teacher so try all here to learn and you can use it here in forum to do constructive post.

Faith in what? That exchanges will mess up again? In that case, I have faith in exchanges to keep messing up due to their incompetence.

People can talk trash about Japan's severe regulations concerning exchanges after the major theft not that long ago, but they at least acknowledge how much of a structural problem there is with exchanges. The majority of the exchanges won't be able to comply if Japan's standards were being used globally. All because of how crappy they are. Why do you think larger players are avoiding exchanges? They know it's like playing Russian roulette with your coins at stake when you use them.

You should preferably only use 'bigger' exchanges.
While it is not guaranteed that these are more secured, indicators are definitely underpinning it.

Nonetheless, you should never keep funds longer on an exchange than necessary.
If you decide to buy/trade a coin, deposit your funds, trade and withdraw them immediately. Do NOT store them on an exchange.

The shorter the timeframe is in which you don't have control over your funds, the lower the probability of losing funds is.

Well most of them is safe like Kucoin and cryptopia. You can try crex24.com too, I did some transaction on that crypto exchange. Oh, it's good to read some review on internet to those specific exchanges you want to go in, just to double check first specially some transaction fee and how user friendly the interface and many more.

In terms of security. I think that's the tip priority of most exchanges so most are moderately safe.
You also have to protect your personal information.
Binance, kucoin, HOTBIT are secure through my experience with them.
For decentralized, with metamask I can safely deposit my assets.

Normally, most people tend towards the crowd and since for a while now, the crowd has shifted towards binance for so many positive reasons, I would say it is safer to just be in line with the crowd as there is no better way than that.

It is worthy to note that Binance really came hard on the exchange space and created a huge competition with their trading fees which I believe anyone who is smart will want to take advantage of that but in the same vein, there is no safe exchange, but it is important to just put in what you can afford to lose.

I would rather say there is no safe market, as the only difference is that they may be volatile than each other. Actually I have always liked ADA, due to its low volatility level, but what is essential is just to know how to trade effectively as that is the only way you can be safe in any market, no matter how less volatile it is. Binance indeed is the most popular one and i think it's really safe to trading binance, they so big volume trade on binance, also everything is smooth based on my experience. With 2FA you can detect someone who will log in to your account, on average 2FA uses a message to your phone or your email. That's a way to keep your account safe which you have to do well, but for the security of an overall exchange I don't know about that.

KUCOIN at some point now is actually becoming to look a whole lot like the second binance.

Almost if not the same lay out and UI, the whole low fee thing and so on. It is actually one exchange that is beginning to gain some ground in the cryptocurrency space as well and I would not be surprised it would gain more ground than its current position in the long run.

There is no perfect way to ensure transaction security. Bancor, Bithumb, Coinral, etc all have attacks from hackers this year. Binance, Bittrex and Huobipro are exchange sites that I really feel secure and trust. reputation from the community, professionalism and a very friendly platform.

Yes the truth be told, so many people in this space do not tend to take security measures seriously as they are so careless about their account, use passwords that can easily be brute forced, discard utilizing additional security features like the 2FA and email login etc. All these things are very important to keep one's account very safe. It is not like exchange as a whole cannot be hacked, but really, it makes a lot of sense to utilize the security features to at least subdue the risk of losing one's fund. Bittrex, Binance and Kucoin are the exchanges I use and I have not regretted it one bit.

Well,that's good idea investing and doing trading with different exchanges to find the better one and to have more experience in different exchanges. Just be careful and always set up 2fa authentication for more security and remember do not stay all your coins in exchange because a lot of hackers out there that can steal your coins if ever.

 I believe that the safest exchanges are the most popular like Binance, Bittrex. They get big attention from hackers obviously because of the many people who trade on their platform. So they MUST take extreme security measures. But you should never keep your bags in an exchange. I recommend to keep strictly the bankroll you need for trading. Don't risk what you don't have to.

Safety of a market certainly depends on each individual. Safety in the form of less volatility and chances of not losing big too fast, or safety of trying to be very cautious of scam. All these things though in a way are something that can only be made as a decision by each person.

If you want to be safe with respect to volatility, then you learn, if it is with respect to not bag holding shit coins, then you do a proper research and if it is about the exchange you want to use, then you simply make it more secured and use reputable ones.

I'm only familiar with Cryptopia and Kucoin the rest looks like garbage trading platform for me so I would advise you to stay away.  Cryptopia though but I see complaints about them as well. I was once a very good fan of bittrex and I never had any issue with it until Binance came to take the love away. At this stage, I believe any exchange with good reputation is safe as long as you are able to keep your own account possibly safe yourself by utilizing some of the things you have mentioned.

However, these days, fees are one solid important part of trading, most especially when you are a high volume trader, and with the fees of binance, I feel a lot safer in that perspective.

It is always important to choose exchanges that are widely used and of course, I will always vouch most especially for bittrex and binance, with some soft spot for Kucoin exchange as well as I believe it also has some huge potential to be a solid exchange in the long run, and the fact that volume is increasing by the day on it.

There are so many things to always consider when it comes to trading, and for high volume trader, fee is one important factor after security, so in that case, I guess Binance wins the day.

I fully agree with you, buddy, firstly chooses a good exchange that no having a ton of issues regarding depositing fund or most especially case withdrawing fund. Most likely shady exchange they will freeze you fund on your account and have a problem on it in withdrawing. So, avoid this possible thing and don't let knuckle you head when it happens. Good exchange, high volume market, and traders that's good in a trader.

There has never been a safe exchange and no one can dispute that fact, but the only thing is that in between all the risks, you just have to find a way to manage those risks and be able to get safe. In that case, you really do not want to be putting more than you can lose on an exchange except your trading funds and considering the fact that you do not have control over your wallet, also you do not want to be using only one single exchange, as sometimes, it is always a good thing to spread the risks and most of all, you really want to be taking advantage of all the additional security features on the exchange.

I do trading in Bittrex exchange and I will say, safe or not about trading platform, it depends on how we take care of important factors for our account, such as passwords and make sure you always use 2FA when you want to log in. With 2FA you can detect someone who will log in to your account, on average 2FA uses a message to your phone or your email. That's a way to keep your account safe which you have to do well, but for the security of an overall exchange I don't know about that.

I was once a very good fan of bittrex and I never had any issue with it until Binance came to take the love away. At this stage, I believe any exchange with good reputation is safe as long as you are able to keep your own account possibly safe yourself by utilizing some of the things you have mentioned.

However, these days, fees are one solid important part of trading, most especially when you are a high volume trader, and with the fees of binance, I feel a lot safer in that perspective.

I have experienced problems withdraw on the bittrex stack for a few days, and then I switch to poloniex, it's even worse I have the same problem, and the stack without response from CS for almost 1 month, and currently use binance and I comfortable here with large volume and reliable, but you should always careful

I believe that is one thing that should actually have been the gospel according to safety on exchanges for a while now. It is an exchange, and you should always have that mindset that anything can happen to the exchange.

Yes man you’re right. It’s not good to be gambling with money in this kind of market cause you might end up losing them. It’s best to go with those exchangers with credibility in the market since they are already tested and trusted and you’re also sure that your money is safe with them instead of losing.

Newbies should go for exchanges like Coinbase, Binance, Bitfinex and other top exchanges that are popular and widely recognized. Then if later after gaining experience they decide to move and find another one, then they can go ahead.

I think every market is safe and it depends on us, how we can make our account safe from the hacker. As long as we can activate the security of the account by using 2fa, email verification, IP verification and text message verification, I think we don't have to worry from anything. I use cryptopia and kucoin, and I activate all the things that the admin suggest to me, and you need to do the same thing as me, so you don't have to afraid from the hackers.

I feel safe with Binance. The security is high and the support is so responsive when you encounter problems. The interface is also easy to use. It's just that I think it's not for beginners because the movement of trade there is so fast-paced. You'll really get dizzy if you are very new to trading, and chances are that you might get swayed, or worst, you might enter a wrong figure of bid. Another exchange I feel comfy about is Idex, since it's decentralized. I feel at ease and relieve to know that my funds are still on my wallet. im a reguar user of decentralize exchanges but so far i dont experienced any issue regarding on the security of my account   but i could say that all exchange are all risky ( whether it is centralized or decentralize ) because money is involved and hackers can potentially attacked your account or the exchange that you are using .

I use Bittrex Bitfinex and Binance and i didn't get any problem with those exchanges till now they are working well and I feel my money is safe in their platforms but I want to say that : Binance is most popular and their team is working good and they have social works and I like it .

I personally spend more on Bittrex and I also have a few coins that I keep there for a long time and it's great still safe without any problems that I received there. There are other exchanges that I use but not very active and tend to issue the balance that I have after trading it.

Lol, why are you jumping from what market to another? I don’t know you’re trying to find which one will suit your needs but haven’t you found any yet? Cause if you continue it like this you might end up in the hands of scammers and you might like it when such happens to you. Cryptopia is already a good exchange, I don’t know about the others that you have mentioned. Maybe you should check out Binance, Bitmex and OKEx.
