I decided to save myself the heat and the noise of my mining rig. I built a small box to put my mining rig on the deck. The box have a good fan (20W) to take air from under the box and direct it on the cards. Hot air escape from 2 vents at the other end of the box. The router inside the box is a client to my other router in the house. Takes more space than a wifi card or usb but it was free . I tested the box during the worst storm in a long time. Not a single trace of humidity in the box. So far the computer seems to enjoy being outside especially during the night when it's colder. The box is always shaded from the sun. Cool, now if you could only snake an extension cord around to the balcony next door

What's stopping someone from running off with your rig while your sleeping?

Looks like it's on the second floor balcony in a nondescript box. Seems like no one would know it's there.

Gravity, elevation, not knowing it's a computer.

no one is going to touch that box except for drunks who will sit on it when they can't walk up the stairs

What about hummidty condensing on your cards?
It looks like it's inside of a container, much like the rooms of your house, which remain unaffected to the condensation.

Gravity, elevation, not knowing it's a computer. Grappling hooks, rope, thermal imaging camera's?

It's a private balcony 20 feet from the ground.

condensating water happens, if air can't hold the humidity anymore. This happens for example if warm air gets colder, cause warm air can take more water. So if humid air gets into that box where it gets warmer no condensation happens.
