Well in my own opinion, I think day trading are more profitable than any other option you have been sited. Why , ? Simple because you will have a daily income if you do it well. And let say it is a little bit smaller that the income you will possible to receive if you hold bitcoin for a long time.  But if you save you daily income I believe you can make it bigger. Just to it right and give enougj time in doing day trading.

It is good to hold bitcoin depending upon the rate if it is low, you have to wait until ti goes high. Then sell it. After that your profit can be used to buy another bitcoin next time the price goes down. I think the more you do the trading the more you can have a high income.

I like to think that you need to buy, hold and from time to time manage your portfolio to remove the crappy stuff that may be better elesewhere. So 2, other and 3.

If my strategy depends on the market price .. If the market price is more expensive than the purchase price, then I immediately sell it. Because there I have the advantage. So its time is not necessarily. What is clear when the market price went up immediately I sold.

But knowing that people do have their own criteria or price targets on where they would sell out their holdings.Anytime can see those opportunities when we are on gains but some people do still decide to hold up even more for possible bigger profits.This would be on case to case basis only since not all coins being held of are doing on the same direction. Some may pump but most of the time do pump and dumps forever leaving investors on waiting game.

As for me, 90% of my holdings are in Safex, with a view to never selling - ever- and reaping the rewards of regular dividends once the Safex marketplace is up and running later this year.

For the other 10%, I'm holding for the short-term with half of it, and basically day trading with the other half.

Actually, almost all here in the bitcoin are holding some coins for longer time becaus ethe value will become higher. Also, buying and selling or trading is a good way of earning more profit. As for me, I join IcO and really make good income there. Its a good investement especially when the ICO ends.

Wow, my proposal planing like below:

Devide fund 3 part:

first part (1/3 fund) to basic coin ( top coin): btc, eth, bch: hold it 2 years
second part (1/3 fund)  to Alt coins: DNR, DGB, XRP, XLM, CDT, CMT: trading and hold short time ( 3 months each)
thrid part (1/3 fund) to ICO: find good ICO and invest, when have profit, sell and buy other ICO

This is a passive profit that you can take after two years and this is good only for treating it as a spare investment.

There's no guarantee that you can take profits every other month, you still need to depend on the current price for those coins. And when it's up, sell no need to wait for every other month. This strategy is risky, what if it was exact that date and all of the coins you bought are red?

This is what happening, after joining the ICO investors are dumping it. But if the project is good and has a strong support from its dev then hold.

As unskill trader, i can not do day trade which mostly difficult to do.
I prefer to choose top marketcap coin like etherium, waves, litecoin and monero to invest and hold it for longer. About how long i will hold, its not sure amd it depends on the price run.

Sometimes I do day trading, but it rarely happens. Usually, when it turns out to go before the good news and sell the next day + 20 ... 50%.

I pick the strategy to buy and hold several altcoins and Bitcoin. Holding crypto for 2 years needs much patience, so I hold it just a bit more than a year.

Might work or not but gaining them on free way is possible and making money out of those free coins gained from bounties can be used to buy cheaper altcoins and hold of for long time but risk is there because not all coins been bought are on the exact point to get in. Either on the peak or on the bottom.If you did able to get in on exact time then you would bear the profits but if not then you will wait for too long.
