My strategy to make a profit is to buy Bitcoin and hold it for years. Besides buying Bitcoin I also bought some nice and promising Altcoin. After that, I went to ICO and arrested him. Everything I use in long-term strategy.

What i do normally is to swing trade even as i hodl with that i get to increase my holdings and i cam decide to sell at anytime and take profit witbout it affecting my portfolio

However in a long-term investment approach is just one strategy that you can choose to adopt. Mostly in this strategy you gain back more. You can even vary the long-term investment approach to suit your own style. The most important thing is to have a plan for each scenario that might happen.

The HODL strategy I use for ALTCOIN is quite simple, when I get a Token from Airdrop, Bounty or investment, I will HODL first, then I will sell it if the price exceeds the ICO price.
At least 2x ICO price I will sell.
