Why is $BCC still a top 100 coin?

BCC sits at around 40$ right now and is on place 83 on coinmarketcap. How come there is still demand for the coin? Isn't it literally useless now?

It will take time for it to get flushed out of the system. 

Many don't know what is happening...just buying blindly.  Some are in denial and still believe it can be saved.  A few thinks it is BCH.  No matter what, I feel sorry for the investors, especially the new ones.

I mean in 6 months, I got 7x my investment at one point and I want more.  It went down to x3 recently (back up to x4.5 now) but it shows I am greedy as well.  My risks are calculated and educated though and I expected these swings (still hurts and shocking mind you) but I don't panic because of the mental (mathematical and statistical) preparation.

This forum helps me stay informed as well (thank you) but not everyone can do as much reading as I do.

I don't take pleasure seeing someone losing money... though it is part of this "game".

A lot of people think this coin has the potential to take over bitcoin so if they have the budget for trading they basically invest on this coin which is really surprising to me. I really thought this coin would be gone too soon right after people received them for free.

Many people just donnot know , that it is hyip scheme , and buy it , thinking that it is real crypto , but it doesnnot trade on any market besides it`s own ). It is scam coin , and dumping it price to 0.1$ it just question of the time.

No matter how strange it might look but they were right actually. BCC has risen 300%+ since yesterday. But if I was on their place I would start selling the coins immediately. I agree with above posters that this coin will hardly survive in the far future. But for now it has $66 million daily trading volume which is impressive to say the truth.

It takes a few days to get out of the top 100. I think many people did not know the BCC information was dead. They have spent a lot of money on the lack of knowledge. That's why BCC is still $ 40. Pray for ignorant people to buy it

Am thinking people have mistaken it for bitcoin cash which sounds more closer to the ticker symbol of BCC or investors are simply unaware of whats happening with the BCC project, lets waiting what happens in the next few days

There is a difference between the natural desire to posses more and better and the greed which is a sick obsession with obtaining more material things, when I invest money it is natural that I want to get more money out of it since that is the reason for investing, but I choose my investments carefully, while I have several coins most of my money is in bitcoin and a single altcoin in which I believe, I will never invest in anything that seems like a scam or in this case a confirmed scam.

I dont think that news will satisfy lots of investors because of these reason:
1. Too late, some already sold all their BCC
2. They want exchange rate > 300$ because Bitconnect refund investment at that rate

On numerous exchanges, Binance for example, BCH is listed as BCC. It makes good sense that new investors in particular gets confused.
