Hello everybody,

I've read lots about bitcoin since the begining of the year, and after reading tons of threads here I decided it's time to join you guys in this awesome forum.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I have to be honest, I just posted this here to make my way out of newbie status. I wasn't expecting any kind of answers, but then I got all those very kind answers.
That makes me think it was a good decision to join the forum.
