I was setting up my Monero port yesterday and forgot to put the port number on the location address.  Now when it tries to start it just says Socket Error and keeps trying to start.  It will not let me get back to settings to fix the error.  Any ideas?  Or do you need a screenshot?  I can screen shot later if needed.  Thanks in advance.

You failed to mention what miner you are using, but ... Right click on the .bat and edit.

Ok, I want you to walk back in there and very calmly, very politely tell the risk assessors to fuck off! -Mark Baum

Also, if you're using NVIDIA cards, assume you have specified the algo cryptonight in the .bat file ( -a cryptonight) ?

By the way, you never said what you were mining with ... But you can skip to the xmr-stak config part and you'll have all of the info that you need.
