Known clean (precompiled) programs

Wow, reading around on this forum really shows some spooky stuff with respect to people getting ripped off.  So what's the safest clean setup one can run without compiling it themselves?  I imagine cgminer and bfgminer are both clean, but it seems everyone has their own miner tools with slick interfaces to attract the noobs.  What's trustworthy?
