A legitimate WW3 will likely be a very aggressive infrastructure war, with digital communications and similarly connected infrastructure hubs being targeted before the war legitimately kicks off if it ever escalates any further than that. It would literally come down to prioritizing three hots and a cot at that point, assuming you ignore the plentifully large amount of other issues that most people in the States and around the world would encounter. Trying to trade anything but gold and silver, along with practical goods, to most people would be a futile effort, and trying to give them Bitcoin in exchange for a gun or a few cans of beans would be hopeless at best.

I seriously hope that people who think another world war would be like WW2, happening in some far-off land where everyone gets to sit at home and contribute to the war effort in a relatively minor way, don't believe that deep down. It would really get complex this time around. Many times over.
