I think gambling should not be for making money to begin with. I mean I understand people who are trying to make money with it and that has a adrenaline rush to it and people love that, making a ton of money and losing it at the same time has its ups and downs and makes you feel alive in this regular standard photocopied life.

Most of us live a life where one day is exactly the same of the other day and we rarely do something as anxiety filled as gambling so I understand those people. However, everyone should know the house is always winning because of the house edge, unless you play on a 0% house edge place (which is either corrupt or bankrupting soon) than you are going to lose in the end and knowing that gives you the freedom to enjoy gambling instead of trying to get sad when you lose.

Gambling is not really addicting,  but people still choose to be addict since they continue to play even if they have no money. If you know the word self-control you will not borrow any money. Its good to stop yourself when you are losing, better to go home as a loser than to keep on playing and be a broken for a long time.

Agree that you are not addicted to gambling but I believe that when you fall into this situation, the situation where you lose a lot of money in gambling and the rest is for fuel, you will continue to gamble, even gambling more than normal, you will not stop as you say. Because this is our mentality, although we don't have gambling addiction, we can manage and control every action in gambling but in special situations like we have lost too much money, loss of control will happen, and instead of stopping, we will forget this and continue gambling to recover loss, and loss will not recover and become more when you wake up

That will likely to happen, if you do not put some limit, you will experience more loses.
Sometimes we have a bad day and if we loss our allocated amount for gambling then we should be willing to call it a day

I think the best thing to do is not to put yourself in that kind of situation or if you can't prevent it, at least keep money for you to use to go home and to buy some foods if in case you are hungry. I don't want to borrow money from anyone because I am afraid that I cannot repay that money and risk my life to lose everything I have. But I will continue to playing gambling because I still want to enjoy the excitement of the games in gambling and besides that, I want to meet my friends and not just for playing gambling only. Hmm, you ask but you counter it with another question which is not favorable to it. So I guess you now know what my answer is . I'll say a big NO.

The scenario presented above is an example of Greed at its finest. A person with that kind of mindset is very brave and moron at the same time. He is willing to give his very last shot even there's a possibility of going home with nothing if he lose, that was a strong move but not a smart one. That is an all or nothing situation which also means dead or alive, I'm amazed at some point but definitely not admirable. For me, losing is normal and there's nothing to be ashamed of because it's more shameful if your friends and family now look to you as a hopeless person.

I haven't a close relative or friend that borrows to gamble. I have heard of a guy that he had losses and he borrowed to gamble and then he lost again. The situation became worse rather than fixing the problem. It is a red line for us but many people think that this option is going to solve their problem.
