Author Topic: Hi, Sent some BTC via breadwallet but now stuck  (Read 86 times)

Hi,

Im a bit of a noob to this. I sent some BTC to an address via breadwallet however its stuck in the mempool with 0 confirmations now and I dont know what to do.

Any help would be appreciated greatly.

Did you try any mining pool accelerators? Also how long ago was it? Network is still very slow at times

Its been stuck there for over 24hrs now.

Yes I tried confirmtx.com a couple of hours ago and still nothing. I think the fee was too low so am really worried as I wasn't sure what the fee should have been.

The reason it's unconfirmed is because it is sending coins from earlier transactions that haven't yet been confirmed.

These are the earlier transactions, and they pay a fee ten times lower than required. First get these confirmed using a transaction accelerator service and the other should confirm by itself.

Thanks for that.

Hmm ok that makes sense.

The earlier ones were imports into BreadWallet so didn't have the option to change fee. I'll try an accelerator for those two and post back here.
