Team De Mollen drive for the KWF through the Eastern Bloc.
"Hey, let's get involved in the Carbagerun." OK !. Three draws and a qualification day further is the time. We will participate in the winter edition of the Carbagerun 2018. The ultimate road trip through Europe. A route of 2,500 km of snow, challenging roads and unique landscapes. And that with 4 friends from Schermerhorn (The Netherlands, 40 KM north of Amsterdam (which is not a country!)) , in 5 days and with an old barrel of year '97.
A banker, planner, IT nerd and a dude who does something with recycling. Collectively just as much knowledge of vehicle technology as a bag of potatoes.
How hard can it be ...
The start is on 5 February 2018 in Munich. With another 450 other teams, we drive through Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Slovakia and end in Bratislava (Slovakia) that week. Time and / or speed are not important. A car that is as original and creative as possible, along with points that can be earned daily with assignments. Game on!
We do this with 2 goals, of course, to make a lot of fun and fun for a week. To gain experiences that will keep us alive for a lifetime. To forge new friendships and deepen existing ones.
And our goal is to combine this fun with a serious business. When we come back, we would like to transfer a big bag of money (our target is 50,000 euros) to KWF Kankerbestrijding.
