I have bought a casascius bitcoin. Is there a register at all where I can find the address?

I'm guessing you're wanting to check the balance?

If so, goto https://blockchain.info/ and enter the digits found on the back of the coin (within the hologram cut out) into the search

Oh I thought there was an online register somewhere thats all where you can check your coin is authentic etc.
