Who want to talk to Jimmy Digriz?

Yes, i forked QRK, but just for test. Joke went far away. (Max, sorry)

I have only 2M CPC, my serv is not i7+, it's a simple VPS for webhosting, lol, i released CPC at 18 of August 2013, so i had no access to public it on "Alternate ctyptocurrencies", also i had no compiled Windows version and i send a link to chats, then i went to sleep.

Than i talked to my self "WTF?", but yesterday i watched 7k+ blocks, difficulty 5+ and 10-20+ connections.
I'm not old crazy scamer, I'm web developer, idea "using some automatic coefficient of activity" for users is very old.

It is not my topic
: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=278069.0
Windows version also compiled by rumbitla.

Original topic in newbie forum was deleted by moderator.

So:
{
    "blocks" : 9537,
    "currentblocksize" : 1000,
    "currentblocktx" : 0,
    "difficulty" : 31.26757256,
    "errors" : "",
    "generate" : false,
    "genproclimit" : -1,
    "hashespersec" : 0,
    "pooledtx" : 0,
    "testnet" : false
}
Let's see, it's too late to stop.

P.S.: QuarkCoin.net was founded when QuarkCoin.org was not exist. It is not a secret.
More info: http://quarkcoin.net/about_quarkcoin.net

so we also have multiple accounts by this scammer
rumbitla and cpucoin

can we all ask why the mods on this forum are currently doing NOTHING

So many big red letters....

Ok first of all, starting a giveaway thread, and not giving any coins away isn't a scam. You don't lose anything by Rumbit's dishonestly/decision not to give away coins, its just in bad taste and not a good way to gain support.

Second, about the claims of the fake Quark site, whether it is Rumbit's or not, they haven't posted it anywhere on the forums, so that is not breaking the rules. If you want to own malware, fine. As long as you aren't trying to spread it, its not really a concern.

I would highly advise people check the source and check for malware in case there is any, but to my knowledge, no one has found any Malware in the CPUCoin client.

Overall, as of now, there are no grounds for a ban or a scammer tag. (not that mods are able to issue either)

It seems that they took down the blockchain. I also had a block solved and lost it. removed the client immediately, and scanned my system with avast, just to be sure that there's no nasty malware. Nothing seems to be amiss on my system, but I'll be sure to watch out (I'm a computer tech that specializes in malware removal, so I'm well within the realm of understanding if there's an infection).

The whole blockchain was overwritten by the Quarkcoin blockchain.  That's what happens when you copy-paste Quark and half-ass it so badly you re-use Quark's genesis block.  Actually I'm surprised it took as long as it did before someone realized the implications of reusing the Quarkcoin genesis block and pulled the trigger to kill this one.

It's quite simple... *Someone* started CPUCoin client with -datadir=/path/to/quarkcoin/blockchain option.  CPUCoin has no differences with QRK, so chain is fully compatible and caused cascade of reorganize events in all CPUCoin clients.
