4U Server cases for Mining

Yeah you can find quite a lot there, you going for 6 or 8 gpus`?

most of my rigs have 6 gpus.. but in openframe cases. Will get them into datacenters for better power costs

One of the more popular cases people use is this one:

Then pick up the Spotswood mod for it and I believe you can get up to 8 cards in it (I've only done 6 or 7).  This particular manufacturer also makes a GPU-centric version of the case, but it's actually more expensive and comes with less, so in general I like the Spotswood modded one better.  He also has a mod for this case to use the DPS-2000BB, which is very cool.

Has anyone tried the ebay 'mining' cases? (like this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Crypto-Coin-Open-Air-Mining-Frame-Rig-Graphics-Case-For-6-8-GPU-ETH-5-Fans-BF/142653909895)

They kinda look OK, but I've have tried before and just made a bespoke oven...

That's the exact case from Amazon I use for my garage rigs. Up to 3 now.
Definitely going to take a look at Spotswood's mod. Below was my first go at it. I've refined my layout a bit.

One thing to be wary about with the '4U' cases out there - while they're all the normal 4 rack units high that the name implies, if you're thinking to put them in a normal data center rack, most of them are NOT 19" wide, the size of a normal server case.  For me that's not an issue, I just designed a rack to hold them, but be aware that it can be a bit confusing how they call them rackmount servers, but you'll need to get a rack that is adjustable to support their non-standard widths.
