The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

Livecoinwatch[1] also has this feature, whereas the prices updates every like 5 seconds or so in a specific coin's market tab. But if you want more specific data, why not go to the exchanges instead? Open them up in multiple browser tabs.

Re-read what I said. I didn't say that you look at the overall price of BTC, I said look at the prices on the markets tab; and another thing: like I said on my recent reply to this same exact thread, view the prices on exchanges instead if you want accurate data.

1 thing i have learned is to NOT make a choice for buy/sell on just 1 'reference' like for example CoinMarketCap alone -> https://themerkle.com/coinmarketcap-excludes-south-korean-prices-total-market-cap-drops-by-50bn/

Good lord. That's exactly the reason why I've been telling you to look at the "markets" tab of bitcoin, so you won't have only 1 reference, but instead look at the prices on various exchanges. How hard was that to understand? This is the third time I'm repeating what I mean. But whatever.

The price of a coin on the floor is only the average price, the price is actually determined by the trader. So in order to know exactly the price of a coin you have to follow the deals were set up, that is the exact price. Or you can also offer the price for your tokens, which you will sell or buy if someone accepts this price and makes a deal with you.

there is no way to know the "exact" price of any coin because the developer of coins does not control the price but the trader/holder/buyer/seller itself, its not centralize so no one control the price. Price will always vary from different different exchange.

Looking at things from a distance, it is evident that the cryptocurrency hype is very real in South Korea right now. Market prices are still at least 10% higher compared to the rest of the world, and that situation will not change anytime soon.

CoinMarketCap’s decision to suddenly include these prices again is rather controversial. That’s especially because they never gave any indication of doing so, nor have they let users disable South Korean prices again. Live Coin Watch, one of the few competitors to CoinMarketCap, does provide that functionality, but their prices are slightly off at times. It is evident there is no real reason to exclude South Korean prices, even though they do skew the global average a tiny bit.

It will be interesting to see if CoinMarketCap sticks with this decision once South Korean prices start going berserk once again.

to determine the moment of price difference from one market coin with other markets you can use https://coinmarketcap.com/ or by opening a direct market that has a price difference so that you can decide to buy it after it was sold in a higher market price.

As such, DAR went on a mission to figure out Blockchain's methods for what it calls "one of the longest standing mysteries in the cryptocurrency community" - bitcoin's estimated transaction value. In the company's report on the subject, published recently, DAR said Blockchain over-estimated transaction values from October to February 2017 and has mostly underestimated them since then.

Executives from Blockchain were not available for interview before press time.

Why not coinmarketcap? There's a lot of coins there and the price changes constantly. They give you the average price as well as the prices on every exchange. It is a very useful website for such purposes. What lacks there and makes the playing and price differences almost impossible, though, is the details about each exchange. It is important to know what's a minimum deposit, withdrawal, what are the exchange fees and perhaps they also have additional gas fees. Without this knowledge one can waste time and money while trying to earn it.

I use CoinMarketApp to monitor the real time price of my coins. It's a phone app, i think you can download it on Google Play Store, not familiar with iOS but it think it would also be available there. You can check it out, it's really user friendly.

I agree with you because the facts are like that.
The development team cannot manipulate market prices, because the market is owned by traders and buyers.

If there is manipulation, then it can be said that the name is monopoly and the nature is centralized
