Got asked about restaurant recommendations in #NYC... Gotta recommend this fantastic one — “Pokee”, right next to NYU, and now accepting $IOST as the payment😄. Jed McCaleb, founder of Stellar and ex-CTO of Ripple also liked it! Make sure to order the #Stellar and #IOST flavor! https://twitter.com/jimmyzhong_iost/status/1003012410150490112

This is a big news to the coin and investors. I believe if this project goes as per plan all early investors will make a lot of profit.

I'm holding all my coins and believe in this team that they will develop this product as per the plan.

Hopefully it can be extended! With more data we may be able to determine how effective the campaign has been (looks really effective to me).

The IOS platform delivers to its users a completely decentralized way to exchange online services and digital goods, but also allows developers to deploy large-scale dApps with the ability to support large numbers of users.

Has the IOST bounty campaigns still been opened for newcomers?
In addition, details (rules and payment rates) of the campaign have not shown in the bounty thread.
Would you mind giving me more details about bounty campaigns, thanks.

HB's index fund selected IOST, which indicates that it has great potential. Due to the existence of a large number of fans, it has a great impact on the whole index, which also indicates that it is a weathervane.

One of the few unique advantages of IOS is the use of "proof of likelihood" as a consensus mechanism. Can someone tell how this mechanism works?

Q: What is IOS?
A: The IOS (Internet of Services) is a next-generation, decentralized ecosystem for online service providers and users with safeguarded and fast transactions based on blockchain technology.

Q: Is IOS based on POS?
A: Actually, IOS is based on POB (Proof of Believability), an advanced version of POS (Proof of Stake).

Q: What is the difference between POB and POS? And why does IOS use POB?
A: POB and POS are similar. Unlike proof of work, the proof of stake achieves high security of the network without expending significant electricity costs. However, under the POS mechanism, token holders have the same fixed costs ( running the computer) and their earnings are related to the amount they held. Under such a mechanism, small amount token holders tend to step out gradually while larger ones gradually hold more tokens. This goes against the concept of the decentralization of the blockchain. POB introduced the concept of Servi on the basis of POS. In addition to the amount of tokens held, contributions are also incorporated into the believability considerations. Users can get a certain Servi by evaluating the services provided by the other party or making a special contribution. These initiatives are designed to promote a balance between nodes and encourage more nodes to join community maintenance and, eventually, realize a high degree of decentralization at a low cost and high speed.

Q: Which consensus protocol is used in IOS?
A: IOS uses a faster graded Byzantine Fault Tolerance mechanism.

Q: What is the EDS (Efficient Distributed Sharding) and how does it offer IOS with ultra-high TPS.
A: EDS is a blockchain network sharding technology initiated by IOS. With EDS, IOS divides all active nodes in the network into many subnets ("shards") dynamically, non-duplicately, and evenly. At the same time, this mechanism can guarantee the operation efficiency of the sub-network and ensure that there are enough effective nodes in each sub-network to verify the transaction. Each sub-network will only be responsible for verifying the transactions originated within this network in order to achieve the purpose of handling multiple transactions simultaneously, which greatly enhances the efficiency of network verification transactions.

Q: Is IOS infrastructure linear scalable?
A: Yes. Based on the EDS, transactions do not need to broadcast through the entire block chain but only through a shard. When new nodes join the IOS network, new sharding forms and the processing capacity increase at an almost linear rate.
