Hi

I have got a friend building a website for me now but am looking at other options too.

Are there any website packages where you get a template and can modify it as you need?

I would need to accept Bitcoin as well as card payments. I am not sure about bank transfers and paypal seems loaded with potential problems.

I will be selling Bitcoins in digital and physical form.

I will also be selling different Bitcoin related merchandise.

Any help on this will be appreciated. Thanks

Wordpress + WooCommerce + this?

Wordpress and WooCommerce should give you everything you need as far as customizability, credit card processing and a shopping cart (and more). Thanks guys. Yeah I like the look of openbitcoinstore. It seems ideal but at the moment it seems to freeze when i try to create a store.

I agree with stevenh512, Wordpress + Woocommerce is probably your best and most versatile option.
It's not difficult to set everything up yourself and there are a lot of templates available that work together with that plugin.

They support a lot of payment methods, including Bitcoin (through extensions)

Another benefit of using Wordpress is that you'll also have access to thousands of other plugins that you might need when setting up your store
It's also very usefull to learn how to set-up a Wordpress site, no programming skills needed.

I would strongly advise you to stay away from so called 'website builders' and other services that help you set up a store in a few minutes.
You have almost no control over the website itself, something you'll probably end up regretting after a while.

It is also possible to choose one of the eCommerce website builders. Using one of them can be a good choice, especially if you don't have much experience and coding skills. They have all necessary features and are mobile compatible. I hope you will find this information to be useful!

These guys offer prebuilt marketplace apps for ios and android that they will brand anyway you want.

I also recommend Wordpress.  Learn it then sign up with a Hosting company and never pay another webmaster.  Its not hard, you can learn the basics in a day.  Wordpress has a lot of free themes that related to Bitcoin, then they have all kinds of free plugins that can get you on your way.  The sky's the limit literally.  You can check out my WP website, just to get an idea of all the freebies.  www.goldinvestnet.com

You're completely wrong here, there are a bunch of ready made solutions.
Even Shopify supports Bitcoin payments, I don't know if this was the case when this topic was started.

That's probably the best ready-made solution you could find, much easier than using Wordpress + plugins.

If you are not that much of a techie, go for Shopify

If you know how to tinker around or can spend some money (less than $200), then go for Wordpress based structure (invest in DIVI plugin, as it will make your life easier).

If you are looking for a Website builder, ensure they can support tracking scripts like Google Analytics and Hotjar (basically injecting Javascript codes)

I would agree w/ the others, don't try and find something Bitcoin targeted platform wise. I would look for e-commerce software (such as WP + WooCommerce) and then find a module which supports/adds Bitcoin payments.
