How CD-Key activation works?
I was interested on Dead Space 2(lost the Steam Sale), but before you answer me I don't think that I'll buy it.

CD-Key activation works the same as activating a Steam key or an Origin key, the only difference is that it's not specific to any digital platform. It's the same type of key that you would get if you bought a retail copy of the game.
