Considering that Ukraine is the punching bag for Russia, I really don’t think wise for anyone to visit there especially when Putin can be moody and decide to attack them whenever he clearly wants to. The people are great but security wise I don’t think so.

Yes, That fact is undeniable. But more possibility is that won't happen cos Nato will interfere, USA is also a member of NATO. Russia still cannot afford long run war, at the moment they want to expand their economy growth, Actually even USA cannot afford a war any more, But in the end Mr. Putin is unpredictable man.

1. Is Ukraine safe for foreigners ?

Yes of course.

2 Are Ukrainians are racists ?

No.

3. How is the living cost in Ukraine

Cheap, one of the cheapest

4. Are there part time jobs for international students in Ukraine ?

Yes

5. Is it difficult to find part time jobs without knowing their language?

No, especially in Kyiv and other big cities. In small cities it might be hard.
Moreover if you are related to cryptocurrency world - you can earn online in crypto.

I'm a bit confused by your messages. If you like Putin and will shout it everywhere - may be Ukraine is not the best country to visit))
Also some of the commentators here provide false information - guys why do you do it? ))

Im looking forward to visit ukraine but on some reason or some people seeing ukraine as a no , a bad thing to visit. I hope I wont regret anything if i visit ukraine right? I quote on this reply hoping that somebody pursue me more or talk about the ukraine. And by any chance somehow guide me I know ukraine is a lot more to explore so hoping and looking forward.

It's not safe at all. Read the news about kidnapping the bitcoint holders in Kiev and Odessa first. If it's not enough I can continue.

Isolated incidents can't be used to tarnish a country. As far as I know, Ukraine is pretty safe for anyone, as long as you avoid the troubled areas and stay away from the drug paddlers. At least when you compare Ukraine to other expat destinations such as South Africa and Indonesia, the former looks like a heaven. But language problems can be a concern though.

Yes, I agree with you on your statement that Isolated incident can't be used to tarnish a whole country, It is not the way to read the whole picture of a country. These type of incident can occur in any country. For a example Anders Breivik's mass murderer scene in Norway doesn't approve that Norway is unsafe for people. Of course Norway one of safest places to live. That was only Isolates incident from a crazy man.

Run a bar in Israel, many Ukranians are coming. In an hour or two one will try to kick ass of another one. It's all about the politics they say. They just don't like ukranians.

This message looked stupid for me, because it gives no sense. "Ukrainians are coming and they just don't like ukrainians"..
So I checked your profiles and most of your messages are in Russian
So if you hate Ukraine and Ukrainians - that's your problem, don't spread stupid messages like this in topic about Ukraine.

For all the readers - as you see, some messages which you might read about Ukraine can come from Russians (even if they are living in another countries or pretend that they are from another countries).

Ukraine is great country both for living and for cryptocurrency, blockchain activities.

Hey guys be cool. We should respect Ukran's sovereignty ,However I read something like this that Crimea was not a truly sovereign territory of Ukraine. It was supposed to be transferred to Russia in 1991, and it didn't happen only due to lack of time and resources on both sides. Transfer would have eliminated huge problems that Crimea faced while under Ukranian control. I never noticed that much about Ukraine before this incident. later I got to know Ukraine also powerful war nation. Because In soviet era most of Weapons were made in Ukraine, So they have so many weapons and air crafts as well. I would like to hear from you guys about this incident and two countries too.

After 1991, after collapse of Soviet Union, Ukraine was 3rd military power in the world. Yes, it might sound strange for some people who doesn't know this history, but Ukraine had 3rd biggest nuclear arsenal, after USA and Russia.
In 1994 Ukraine gave its nuclear weapons and signed Budapest memorandum with USA, UK, Russia and these countries guaranteed security of Ukraine. Russia violated Budapest memorandum by occupying and annexing Crimea. That's it if in brief.

The problems in Crimea started during the 1990s, when the returning Crimean Tatar Muslims began forcibly occupying the farms owned by the ethnic Russians. The Ukrainian government sided with the Muslims, and this made the local Russian population very hostile towards the regime in Kiev. That is the reason why almost no one in Crimea (not even the ethnic Ukrainians) want to be part of Ukraine ever again. The Muslims on the other hand want the peninsula to merge with Turkey.

That's Russian position, or even I would say position of some Russian imperialists. I thought you are from Russia as well as other commenters, but checked some other posts and it seems you are Indian (like I thought first time when saw the name).
Many Muslims from Crimea (Tatars) wanted to be in united Ukraine, but Putin and Russian special forces used the moment when after Maidan Kyiv government was week and occupied Crimea.
Many people including ethic Russians are not happy to live in occupied territory which Russia claims to be its own (but that's not recognized by almost no other states, including India). So some day Crimea should return to Ukraine. We'll see.

Ukraine is a beautiful country and quite cheap for the cost of living. But I think it's better to choose big cities where there are many people with whom you can communicate in English if you need help. I recently went to Kiev and I can say that it's safe and there are a lot of friendly people.

Thanks, that's good and honest review.
Yes, if you need more communication - it's better to choose big cities, if you need cultural life - choose cities.
But if it doesn't matter you can choose even any small town, the price of living there will be even cheaper

1. Is Ukraine safe for foreigners ?

Truely saying, I have been to many countries from abroad and I have something that I can compare to. There are many crazy people around the world and Ukraine isn't an exception. So I can ezly say that it is pretty much safe.

2. Are Ukrainians are racists ?

Presonaly, I have never met an Ukrainian who would say that he hates any other race.

3. How is the living cost in Ukraine.

Unfortunately, Ukrainian economic is disastrous and it means that you can easily excange some dolars for a pretty big amount of hryvnias.
As for prices, they aren't high at all for any foreigner. You can spend a week here with all the comforts only for 350$. It all depends on a region and quality or a choosen living place.

4. Are there part time jobs for international students in Ukraine ?

Rather yes than no. Waiter, postman, barman, delivery man and so on. All this professions are easy to find in every city of our country. But the salary might be not as high as you would like it to be. Keep it in mind.

5. Is it difficult to find part time jobs without knowing their language?

Quote from: Flodner on Today at 04:23:27 PM
No, especially in Kyiv and other big cities.
It's hard to agree with you. In one hand you don't need to communicate with other people much when you do some physical part time job, but in another and you've got to be able to find a contact with your colleagues or customers. So it can be pretty difficult.

Huge opportunities are open for skilled programmers due to fast-growing offshore programming industry. Native English may be an opportunity for language teaching. I'll agree that common part-time jobs like waiters or delivery that need  to communicate with local customers will be hard for a foreiner. But many local businesses are export-oriented and seek for stuff with good language skills for sales, support etc.
As for general safety it is pretty good for a country in war.

May be when replying I was thinking more about IT area. In past when I worked in IT companies, I had several foreign colleagues, and sometimes they even got more salary because they were "native speakers".
Also in big cities there are many language schools, so if you speak fluently Spanish, Italian, French, Chinese, Arabic and many other languages - you can find  job in this area too.

And if we are talking about physical jobs - it's more difficult, but if you have friends they can help you in this direction

Not all people can earn in cryptocurrency area)
But earning in crypto and spending in Hryvnyas (Ukrainian currency) is great idea for foreign visitors and tourists

By the way about tourism you can check this site http://andy-travel.com.ua/region/podorozhi-ukrayinoyu
It covers lot of unique places in Ukraine
It's in Ukrainian, but it has lots of photos and just in case to check info you can use translator

Oh really? There are more than 2 million members in this forum. How many of them are earning decent salary in the form of Bitcoin or altcoin? I would say that the amount will be in two digits. Unless you are a campaign manager or someone at that level, it is very difficult to earn decent wages here. Sig campaign earnings are good as additional income. But they can never be your primary income source.

It was a joke in a little. The average salary in Ukraine (becides Kiev, Lviv, Odessa, Kharkov, Dnipro) is near $150. Do you really want to work in Ukraine? It's better to be a freelancer and take salary in USD or cryptocoins.
