Hi there, I would like to build an ethereum mining rig. I would like to buy 6 RX 580 8gb but unfortunately are not easy to find (and prices have risen a lot). Can someone give me some valid alternative? Nvidia GTX 1060 would be ok? Thanks a lot! Smiley

RX 570 4gb should give you roughly the same performance.

I bought last month 2 MSI RX580 cards for 300 € - 8 GB (new). Sapphire RX580 - 8GB,  I bought 2 months ago for 350 € (new). It will off course depend a lot on country you live in. But if you look good I think you can still find some good prices.

You can consider RX570 as well. they should be somewhat cheaper.

Thanks for the answers. RX 570 would be a good choice but I can't fin them easily (and maybe having more than 4gb RAM would be a good choice). What kind o performance can I have with a 6 x Gtx 1070 rig (in mh/s)?

All the market in the world you would not get the Rx 470 and 570 cards not easily from the local market. Please check the authentic reseller of the Radeon cards in your city and do prebook. Even I have done the same thing to order a cards.
Last time tried order, 6 RX470 cards but price was little high and not available instantly. He asks me to wait for some weeks and finallly I got after 10 days. Please check local reseller as I said.

Overclocking the memory, roughly the same as a 570/580 with modded bios.

Problem was 1070 were way more expensive than 580, but at the prices they're selling now, probabily not the case anymore.
