Check out this game's page and look for "0.1 BTC for story which makes me smile"
http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=27732.0
Hurry up, I can't wait to send these prizes to first funny stories coming, but you always can win the main prize as well (and you have plenty of time for that)!
Enjoy it!
And good luck!
So, new promotional prizes are coming up, so, don't forget to check that page later!

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin-Qt, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

I hate the bullshit ponzi, pyramid, and etc "games"

But this one has to be the worst, it requires you to be creative on top of giving money up?

So, someday, you'll get your liberty... Maybe not to late to receive the prize mentioned.
OTOH, there are many other members, not only newbies....

Cheesy!
You don't have to participate in this game to take part in competition or to receive a promotinal prize...
But, for sure, you are highly recommended to.

I would appreciate it if people would keep these adverts out of the newbie section.  It's overwhelming enough for a bitcoin newbie without having to make them feel like it's a big scam the second they get in to the forum.

And I also don't think people should openly advertise pools here either (and I am a pool operator and would LOVE to advertise my pool in here, but I just don't see it as a good thing in the long run for the community as a whole).

Newbies are not the target group group for the game itself, but I really want them to participate in writing competition... There are absolutely no risks in it, you can't lose any money by that.
So, I hope to see new creative approaches there.
Cheers!
