Bitcoins main purpose as a cryptocurrency is to be used as a payment method to avoid third parties.
But because of it's unstable value, innovation and creative minds are seeing that there's a potential to bitcoin if we will use it and treat it as an investment.
Otherwise the main purpose of bitcoin as a currency and payment method is starting to change because of recent problems, high fees and slow network confirmation.

So far I have used bitcoins to buy air time for my mobile phones. In my country we do not have any other merchants for accepting direct bitcoin payments. Like most of the people here I am also very much interested to buy my daily needs for bitcoin payments so that I will be saving a lot of money because I am converting bitcoin for my local fiats which has lot of hassles and fees. Additionally I am having bitcoin debit card but due to its high fees I am afraid to use it. But, when bitcoin will be having huge value, I may start using it for my daily needs.
Bitcoin is bad for buying airtime and I will never advice anyone to do such a thing with bitcoin, unless maybe you used a different server. I once tried to buy airtime with Xapo, that was around 2015 and I ended up losing my money. I later contacted their customer care, and they claimed that I must have gott the airtime, which I never did. I had no other choice than to forget about it. Honestly I am not discouraging anyone for not trying. But I suggest to double confirm before trying out. Because, fiat is working in different way from bitcoin is working. Even bitcoin transactions are visible to anyone, some customer executives are not understanding that which may lead to unnecessary problems. |

I used Bitcoin many times to buy services and some goods online, it is mainly a crypto currency, so it is normal that we use it to buy and sell products online. The issue is that it is not yet fully supported everywhere offline, so we cant use it directly to buying goods, but it is more used to buy and sell services online.

I used bitcoin in paying my credit card bills, and utility bills through it.Its not hassel cause I do not need to go to bayad center just to pay it.My earnings in bitcoin,I have lots of things and appliance in my house that I buy through bitcoin.

I used my bitcoins buying mobile loads and paying my monthly bills. And I'm also looking forward to expense it in other online stores that offers general merchandise, it's so easy and friendly to use bitcoins as payments unlike other method that there's so many restrictions. |

The same I do because it is an opportunity to make bitcoin high in price. Same like you right now I have not bought anything with bitcoin but some of my friends are there who use bitcoin to buy things online, there are a lot of markets in my country that accept bitcoin and increase the demand of bitcoin in market place, if we will use online payment of bitcoin we will get more benefits as we will not have to go out in this sharp winter and we will not have to take leave from our work so I think it will be a great experience. |

I once used some of my bitcoin to purchase a domain, webhost and a SSL certificate. The transaction fee then was really high and I wouldn't have used it if I had another option but I did though. Since then, I have tried not to use my bitcoin for purchasing anything. Though, I still wish to buy a new laptop but still contemplating If I should change few of my bitcoin to fiat for this.

I really want to buy something with Bitcoin but i'm so sad because in my country i cant find the store that accept bitcoin for paying the product.But, i imagine when i have chance to go abroad that accept Bitcoin i really want to buy cosmetics that like on my dream amd also buy sneakers which i love.

If indonesia legalized using another currency

I have only use bitcoin for a few products. What I always do is buy bitcoin and sell them in higher price. I have used bitcoin for paying bills, buying e-loads, and paying my friends. But if I were given a chance to buy anything with bitcoin, I want to pay my tuition fees with bitcoin directly because it is too much work to cash out. I also want to buy products online since only a few accepts bitcoin as payment. |

I’ve used Bitcoin to buy a CoinTracking.info license. They give you a discount if you pay in BC. So why not, And I really like the software for tracing my crypto investments and tax liabilities. |

I used Bitcoin to buy a lifetime unlimited membership to CoinTracking so that I could have an easier time keeping records of my cryptocurrency transactions for tax purposes as well as tracking my portfolio. They give a discount if you pay in Bitcoin. There is a limited free trial version, but if you do anything significant in this space you'll want to upgrade. It's not cheap, but it's saved me hours and hours of time already. |

I have used bitcoins only to buy digital goods and never got a chance to buy any physical goods by using bitcoin as a mode of payment as bitcoin is still not popular in my country and you don't find any real place to use it to buy something as I always wanted to buy a smart phone and laptop using my bitcoin as payment method but now I think I need to wait for a long time to do that.
