Not only am I from Portland, but I have been a long-haul trucker, so I have experience living out of my vehicle. Portland has mild temperatures, so your biggest concern should be showers. These run ~$10 at truck stops, but if you are planning to stay in Stumptown, get a membership at a health club and take showers there. It's way cheaper. You might even get 1 week free trial memberships.
