I decided to do it!  Got what appears to be, according to my search, and correct me if I'm wrong....the first Bitcoin QR Code/Payment Address tattoo!  It's on my left forearm, here's a upclose pic on paper bitcoin money, for some reason I can't scan it when it's on the comp and resized, so I included the actual digital QR Code that we took it from!

I know there will be haters, but honestly I've already gotten compliments from people who don't know what it is!  Soon I will have LIBERTAS * AEQUITAS * VERITAS placed around it.  Any donations to add to it are greatly accepted and appreciated!  The shop that did it was one of my clients, www.fastlanetattoos.com who I talked into accepting bitcoin a couple weeks ago!

Any other suggestions are appreciated as well!

Thanks, I think at some point and time if I can have this address be changeable it would be epic for any site that I setup.  But I'm sure that's future thinking.

It does work in person, but where I had it placed with the sizing, I actually have to hold my skin back so that it's flattened out.  Not exactly how I planned it, but at least the functionality is still possible!

Stumbled across this old thread and just wanted to say Wow- because as of the Bitcoin price today ($16,000+), the 200 BTC bounty paid for this tattoo is now worth more than $3.2 Million USD! I sure hope OP & his wife held some of that to reap the rewards of long-term appreciation. And to the people making fun of her for getting a BTC tattoo for 200 Bitcoins- your comments certainly didn't age well!

I just came across this thread through this post and was amazed to find out how much bitcoins were given for this bitcoin's tattoo contest.  This was back in 2011 when most of us had no idea about bitcoin. 

I tried to open the links in the OP post but none of the the images or video (YouTube) links are working. So we won't be able to know how exactly were the first Bitcoin tatooo looked like
