Does anyone know how to do offline signing of Ethereum transactions?

With my day-to-day Bitcoin funds, I use an Electrum wallet setup where a "watching only" wallet generates transactions and my offline wallet signs them. Is this possible with Ethereum? Any links to tutorials on this would be greatly appreciated.

I donot recommend using desktop/app wallets because they are more prone to hackes just like exchanges, the best thing to do is to store your cryptocurrencies in a secured hard wallet and trezor these are the two most commonly used by the community, you can use mew's paper wallet if you arent comfortable using hardwallet.

i have never used this myself because i only invest in ETH for short term profit and for that i only keep it on exchanges for a short time before i dump it. but you can use MyEtherWallet.com to do that.

- you clone the repository to take it offline: https://github.com/kvhnuke/etherwallet
- then open it online to https://www.myetherwallet.com/#offline-transaction and enter your address to get the transactions and make your new one.
- go to offline and use that tx you created to sign using your private key using the repository clone you made in first step.
- take that tx to online computer and open https://www.myetherwallet.com/#offline-transaction again, scroll down to the bottom and pate the raw hex there and click Send Transaction.

use this at your own risk, i have never tested this myself. better try with a small testing amount first

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

Hard wallet my man, I do enjoy the convenience of MEW or other online wallets but cold storage is the only safe way to preserve your fund.

I use Ledger Nano S myself and very pleased with it. It's one of the safest hardware wallet on the market to store your coins. You can get access to ETH and any ERC20 tokens using Myetherwallet.
If you are holding more then one month of your income you should think about getting Ledger or Trezor for protecting your assets.

I think that you can try to check this link and this is a methoed that makes you able to send ethereum through offline transaction. https://myetherwallet.github.io/knowledge-base/offline/running-myetherwallet-locally.html
And this too https://myetherwallet.github.io/knowledge-base/offline/making-offline-transaction-on-myetherwallet.html. this has been providing by mew officially.

- go to offline and use that tx you created to sign using your private key using the repository clone you made in first step.

This might be a dumb question, but how do you "use" the repository clone exactly? I'd be interested in switching to an offline signing system like this, but I've only used the Myetherwallet browser GUI. Are you saying there's no GUI for doing this?

If you are using Windows, press the green button, (Clone or Download) and then download zip.
Unzip the file to your computer as usual.
If you are using Linux, follow this link from GitHubHelp:

https://help.github.com/articles/cloning-a-repository/

You will find many other helpful pieces of information if you read the Help page of MyEtherWallet.
Everything is explained there.

Unfortunately, I do not know anything about this, except that you can put the local purse ETH MIST, which does not work bad enough, so about your question, I can only talk about the MIST wallet and so far everything on
