Recently I found out kucoin. Is very easy to trade and there are a lot of currencies...

I don't know if you are experienced trader or not but remember always to start with few bitcoins and buy altcoins always thinking in the long therm

As you will see depending from the exchange you choose you will be able to trade certain types of coins, so before choosing the exchange it is better to identify altcoins that you are going to buy and then sign up in the exchange that trade the coins you want to buy and sell Wink

I am using and recommending these two popular exchanges for both Bitcoin and many altcoins: Binance and Kucoin. These two are performing well as they already have burgeoning list of members and traders under their wings. Both of these are offering good services and much better platforms compared to their competitors. However, expect new exchanges to sprout soon and they will surely be offering new features which we may like. Just be careful though as exchange business can still be risky and we don't know which of them might just die a natural death. Good luck!

Poloniex is also a best exchange where you can trade all the coins and it has low fee when compared to Bittrex and Binance. But if you are new to crypto then better start learning about the trading then doing trading at the start.First you need to pick the coins for your trading and then choose the exchanges based on your coins.
But remember that many exchanges temporarily stopped new registrations so I think Poloniex is that best available option for you.

I would love to know which exchanges extort ID under the guise of "verification" and which do not, as somebody who does not own ID and will not get any ID, the recent changes to polo for example, have effectively closed me down as a trader. Sad

First of all it depends on which country you are in, so first you have to use The legal currency of your country to buy bitcoin.
Then you transfer the bitcoins to the exchanges that others have said, so you can trade altcoin normally.

If you want to trade coins on the Internet without an ID then you can just sign up to YoBit exchange.

probably anywhere is good instead of bittrex.
because bittrex has a lot of problems right now. i hear a lot of users are having their accounts locked even with verification. and i even heard of a lot of leaks of user documents that they submitted to become verified.
not to mention that they have the highest trading fee among all exchanges by a large margin. it is 0.25% where lowest is currently 0 to 0.1%

altcoin trading is a market that has a very high daily trading volume, I can advise you to trade in bittrex which proved to have very high trading volume and there has a very high security not only that altcoin there very much and very good.

I would recommend binance, although they are charging high withdrawal fees but their trading fees are much less compared to others if you opt to pay in BNB. It is easy to use and also offers a decent limit for unverified accounts as well.

Whatever you advise, I will say one thing: if you are going to seriously study this market,
learn to trade on EtherDelta, this will be very useful to you!

For beginners I would recommend cryptopia and Poloniex:
Cryptopia
Advantages
- Cryptopia has a lot of cryptocurrencies for trading
- Up to a withdraw limit of 5000 $ daily no ID verification is needed
- Cryptopia has many info sites about all listed cryptocurrencies
- Forum for info and chatbox for little coin presents and fun are implemented
- Arbitrage site is implemented
Disadvantages
- Many cryptocurrencies are "dead" coins in my opinion. Good research is needed for trading there.
- Interface especially for mobile devices is awful in my opinion.

Poloniex
Advantages
- Very handy interface on PC and all mobile devices.
- Mostly only established cryptocurrencies are listed.
- Useful charts in any cryptocurrency.
- Lending opportunity of several cryptocurrencies.
Disadvantages
- Awful slow support
- Now each user must go through ID verification.

Let me guess you are as a newbie and then you need exchange site that is very trusted without a lot of restriction to the users, I just find binance as best exchange right now and okex can be considered as alternative service from binance, kucoin should on 3rd place after binance and okex. But it looks hitbtc already actively to resolved all of their problem. I would never give any recomendation to use bittrex or polo.

I am recommending binance, and poloniex and bitrex too. These exchanges are the biggest trading players. If your trading and on your mobile phone i recommend also to use the tab trader apps, you can download it on google playstore. This apps make your trading more efficient, smooth and faster and you can read also the graph easily. If your looking for lower transaction fee i recommend poloniex. But do study and research before trading you might lose all your money.

Since you are a beginner, I suggest you trade at Poloniex.
Because the tokens on Poloniex are generally less risky and less likely to return to zero, the tokens of other exchanges, many of them fall and rise too much, are not suitable for beginners.
