Depends on the institutions, no? Like, for example, Ripple will probably be popular among many institutions because it's backed by banks. But is that a good thing? The banks part I mean. Might become very corporate.

The trend has already started a while ago but yes, last year was when we truly saw them start to eye crypto markets seriously. This year we will see at least three times as much interest and those who had their appetites increased from last year's boom will be investing even more money this year. And I feel the money will only grow until next year. if not all the way until 2020.

Regulations will not make BTC price drop, it will make it even more in demand by the few still able to sell and cash it out.
