As Undersecretary David Cohen recently noted in public testimony, Treasury has convened a broad interagency group, known as the AML Task Force, to undertake a thorough assessment of the U.S. AML framework. Towards this end, the Task Force seeks feedback on potential gaps, redundancies, and inefficiencies related to the Bank Secrecy Act and its implementation by financial institutions, as well as any recommendations financial institutions may have on how to address these.'
