that's the whole point of BC anyway right?
Why is it so hard to do?
MtGox accepts Dwolla, but Dwolla wants my bank account and address -- um, no thx.
Bitmarket.eu needs you to prove yourself.

I buy prepaid credit cards at the mall, and I wish to use these to buy bitcoins.
I am willing to pay a premium, and I am willing to wait for an escrow to eliminate the possibility
of "chargebacks".  Is there no service where this is possible?

Thanks,

ME
Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Enter into a private transaction where you exchange cash for BTC.

You can just buy the coins normally, then "launder" them through a couple wallets, deposit into mtgox, then take back out, etc, the trail would be super hard to follow.

I've heard good stories about:
https://www.bitcoin4cash.com/
(it doesn't look like he has a lot available though at the moment...)

Just follow the directions carefully and don't make an obvious fake name on the envelope that may look suspicious...

*Next Draw Feb 1*  BitLotto: monthly raffle (0.25 BTC per ticket) Completely transparent and impossible to manipulate who wins. TOR

Enter into a private transaction where you exchange cash for BTC.

Exchanging cash is 1) dangerous (if you do it person to person) or 2) unsecure (if you mail it in an envelope) or 3) annoying and time consuming (if you buy a money order).

Paypal would be nice, but people are afraid of chargebacks..

Using the exchanges is more time consuming, but it's easier to buy BTC that way once you're actually signed up for one of them.

The other way is to exchange cash or credit for a Radeon card and mine bitcoins Smiley

Another idea is to buy a MoneyPak card, which is anonymous AND irreversible. However, only a few people will likely take them, since you aren't allowed to cash out the money to a bank.

You can use [urlhttp://www.iwantfreebitcoins.com]iWantFreeBitCoins.com[/url] to earn BitCoins.  You can have them sent to any BitCoin address you want.  So there wouldn't be any cash/credit/identity trail.

We dont require an email to sign up either.

Thanks all for your replies.
I will check into the reputation of bitcoin4cash.com et al
and try sending cash in the mail.  Too bad MtGox cant just
offer a pay-by-credit-card service (with escrow).
Cheers,

Readers might find this useful. It's a no minimum fully automatic trade between bitcoin and LR, both hard currencies.

https://www.nanaimogold.com/bitcoin.php

Also a handy currency calculator, gold, sliver, EUR, GBP, BTC and others, and some auction prices for comparison.

I'm currently offering a Western Union to bitcoin service at NO CHARGE. Select the options you need on this page;

https://www.nanaimogold.com/buy.php

Because bitcoin is designed to be anonymous, and because private money should remain private, I do not entertain discussion in public. If you need to ask me a question, you can contact me in private through this form;

https://www.nanaimogold.com/contact.php

Nanaimo Gold does not require users to open accounts and never asks users for ID.

Have heard good things about direct deposits with BitInstant, you still have to go into the bank and make the deposit so I guess it's semi anonymous. (Hood up and face away from cameras etc)
Heard of some people still doing direct deposits into MtGox too, although MtGox advise against it so it's pretty risky.

If you look around there are also a couple of people that accept cash in the mail for coins, imo this is probably the most anonymous you can get doing a cash for coin exchange, just the trust issue to deal with there.

Sell cash in the mail, or prepaid gift cards, on something like bitmit.net or bitcoinclassifieds.net

Do not waste your time debating whether Bitcoin can work. It does work.

"Early adopters will profit" is not a sufficient condition to classify something as a pyramid or Ponzi scheme. If it was, Apple and Microsoft stock are Ponzi schemes.

There is no such thing as "market manipulation." There is only buying and selling.

did you actyally find a way?
bitcoin4cash.com seems down. nanaimogold.com has disabled by mail payment option and LR is not easy to fund anonymously.

I can do bitcoin for cash in the mail.  You mail me cash and an address (preferably as a QR code because I'm lazy), and I'll convert it at the rate on the day I receive it and send it the the address in the envelope.  PM for my mailing address if you're interested.

This.

Also you can run it through some throwaway addresses, it might be traceable but it should give you plausable deniability. Depends what you're after.
