Hi guys

I have a 256gh/s Fast-Hash One Base Unit on preorder and I am doing research on what laptop to get to host my miner.

Does ram, cpu speed, gpu, etc. make a difference in my over all miner performance or can I buy the cheapest laptop?

Negligible difference, unless the cpu is so slow that it can't keep up with submissions.

It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

I had an old netbook lying around so I use that to mine with my 20 USB erupters. It works great.

Better wait for pics of their boards/chips before spending any more money. Did they even post a tape-out date yet?

+1 for using a Raspberry Pi.

You might want to get a powered USB hub, just in case.
